I set all my social networks to private, its just a habit. The sites not that difficult to figure out I don't think you need to be an experienced player to know where the privacy options are.
 
For now, lynch Vdubs.

too weird to me that she isn't on here posting but is looking for safety in numbers. it would be an easy way for a wolf to make it through the first rounds without any trouble, even if she completely made up that she was a part of that specific story.
 
My accounts not private anymore so you can rest assured I'm not a wolf.

WOAH-ho-ho, I'm not sure why it said that...I don't think I've looked at my own profile today, just other people's and my notifications etc. As you can see, it's also not set to private (and most likely never will be, I've been stalking players' post histories too and don't mind if anyone can see my posts, especially in the context of a WW game where hiding behind privacy would be suspicious heh)

And I don't want to reveal a whole lot about my role other than what's already been said and any subtle cues I may leave, because now I'm afraid of becoming the next LOTF & katashark (It was clear they were villagers by that point, and they were some of the most active too). But believe me, you don't want me gone!
 
I personally don't worry so much about the privacy settings. I'm sure there's at least one or two veteran WW players who have their profiles set to private.

Going through my spreadsheet and the previous posts. Caiter's two lynch votes, LOTF and Chordata, were both villagers with special abilities. The reasoning behind voting for LOTF seems super tenuous to me...Huck is a trouble maker? Sure, he's a scamp, but still clearly a (much beloved in American literature) protagonist. Not a lick of useful information about her own role or character.

Vdubs bandwagon sounds interesting too.

I currently have two or three players in mind whom I'm honestly way more suspicious of. Just trying to decide which of them I want to lynch... back to read through the thread again.

For whatever is worth to you, I do believe Vdubs is part of my character set based on something she said. It was something that wasn't grounded in any information I gave her so therefore it had to be something she already knew. Not that you suggested it, but I don't think she lied about her character just to get in our (very unofficial) alliance.

At this point I'm actually pretty sure I know who each of them is, not just that they're "one of the other three"
Now, I won't say that being aligned with me makes them 100% safe (because who only knows), but I'm not rushing to lynch them at the moment and I'm inclined to think they're relatively safe.

Speaking of... I have a lynch decision to make. Who are other people lynching right now? What is the collective thinking here?

Finn, sounds like maybe Vdubs correctly identified himself as the younger sib without you first revealing you were the older sib? Is that right, or did I miss something?

I do think it was pretty obvious who your foursome was before Vdubs showed up, so I don't think knowing who the characters themselves are means too much...but if he guessed the right boy out of two, that does increase the odds.

That is correct. I never identified myself as the older boy, nor did I ask Vdubs which she was--which would have opened her up to a 50/50 guess. But you can see going back when I asked if she was boy or girl she offered up that she was specifically the younger boy. This was promising to me because why even volunteer that descriptor if I didn't ask and it might reveal her as a liar?

It probably is obvious, but I still hope no one says it aloud. After what happened to two other identified characters I'm worried enough about how much we've revealed thus far.
 
Still not entirely sure of who to choose. I'll have to do some more backtracking and reading post histories, but for now I have to do a quick video-recorded interview for a scholarship I applied to. Gotta get it out of the way now while I'm at the grandparents' before heading to my loud animal-house this weekend 😛

since the deadline is only in an hour and a half, I'll go ahead and make a (very hasty and not sufficiently substantiated) accusation. If I have enough time before deadline to investigate as much as I want to, I'll almost certainly end up changing it.

I'm still somewhat inclined to lynch someone who isn't active. Maybe it's just me, but if you can't check in every once in a while, I don't know that you're helpful as a villager, and you could be a wolf. (AKA I think it's still a crapshoot for people who are active, so I don't want to pick. 😛)

I'm not sure.
At this point I think it would be hard to prove herself because most of the hinting had already been dropped by us three and it is far easier to know who we are and lie accordingly.
I'm willing to tentatively believe her as this point, but I will handle her more cautiously than the other two. And I hope (if she is indeed who she says she is) that she understands why I must treat her this way. It is certainly nothing personal.

I'm afraid to just pick someone random again. I decided to pick who really had me raising my eyebrows (honestly, I could have voted for Mouse yesterday, too). While Caiter is being rather quiet (as are other players like Rocky, Trilt, etc.), I'm hesitant to use that as reason for suspicion because I know how busy I am right now myself. There are others that are more suspicious to me than the quieter ones. I just don't want another Tiny Tim incident 🙁
 
Still not sure about Pink, so her hesitation to vote for Caiter makes me feel better about the choice.

It was suggested that the wolves might have silenced the quiet players. I think items could do that, or someone might have that power, but I think it's more often that they are given restrictions. Like, a "silenced" person can only post in food pictures. Things like that. Anyone know of a silenced player being unable to post at all, in previous games?

Also, if the wolves have a seer, I don't think they could have checked out both kat and lady. And I'm not sure if their results would have come back before night deadline.

As strange as it is that kat was targeted after we lynched her partner, I think it's more likely to be coincidence.

PinkPuppy has preemptively explained absences three times. This is the only thing giving me feels on her.

I think DocE was completely silenced in the IRL game...stoner prophet, or something like that? Can't remember if he was a wolf or villager, though. Going back to check.
 
Sorry guys... Found the sweetest stray cat in the world. Took him to my vet to get tested and neutered and all that jazz, got emotionally attached, then found out he is FIV positive. Trying to figure out what to do.. It's been an emotional roller coaster. I will be ok in a bit to catch up.

Why would you want them to role reveal if you're not suspicious? Especially as characters who had revealed were killed?
