I'm not convinced Kam is a wolf. I could be convinced Kam is now chaos, but no idea how to determine that otherwise.

Who protected Hazelmoo?

Do we know who STB is? No offense STB but I have character names written down for everyone but you.
 
Yep, Caiter is not an alpha wolf, so she is officially dead.

If you have everyone's role, it is obvious that SOMEONE is lying. I don't know who though. I was suspicious of Kam but if there is no way Caiter can come back then that nixes that suspicion. I still was suspicious of dev and swini. But I could be on the completely wrong track.

Where is swini and who are they again?

Okay guys, I have to go for a while. Please do consider the logic before assuming I'm a wolf. I've been verified as Wendy by TWO players, one of whom is still left in the game, and we know there is only one wolf left in game. So either dev is a villager is lying about me for no reason, or dev is a wolf and thus I'm not a wolf.

A question I've been wondering about the night write-ups: anyone notice that Steph is still on the dead list AND the living list? I've believe I've seen games before where a player was revived and was removed from the dead list. Just a typo by our modgods? Also, what's going on with the color scheme? We know black is villages, red is wolves, and dark blue is Chaos, but why are Fin and Caiter both light blue? Can't think of a connection.

I don't want to out her if she was planning to stay under the radar, but I assume Swini is Susan, our horn blower. (Horn gifted by Father Christmas, brings aid).

So yes, she could have come back as a wolf. I don't think she did, I tried to use it strategically (she was lynched so hopefully not converting to wolf by a wolf bite, we could test her by having her resurrect someone friendly), but there is that risk.

Swin has from near the beginning claimed to be the fourth Pevensie. Since Edmund and Peter are dead and I outed myself as Lucy, logically that makes her Susan. (sorry swin, but I think the time for hiding is gone).

This. I have been suspicious of her for awhile. To be fair, my gut has often been wrong (sorry Steph) but I also feel like Goldilocks doesn't really fit all that great with the rest of the characters, plus in the original tale she's an old crone.

Interesting.. I have literally never suspected PP before but that could be her goal. I think goldilocks fits within the theme. But does Nancy Drew? Something I have been wondering.
 
Someone please tell me why PP is a suspect! I have never felt that way but I could be COMPLETELY off.

I'm not old!! At least that particular version doesn't match my description. Remember when I said I had to research my story? That's why...I do have a lot of versions. I'll reveal my ability: I am able to help myself to items that are 'just right.' So far, I'm thinking this may be a torture device by the mods because I've been unsuccessful each night. I'm not sure if I'm supposed to find a specific item at some point, or take something from a specific person.

I have a little bit of time, so I guess I'll go ahead and expand on this now.

PP claims to be Goldilocks. I have issues with this for a few reasons:

1. Goldilocks would be a pretty easy character to just make up. Everyone knows the story of Goldilocks and the three bears. Of all the tales one could pick a character from, this would likely be among the first to come to mind.

2. Goldilocks just doesn't seem to fit the theme. Every confirmed character thus far, with the ONE exception of Red Riding Hood (I'll get to that in a second) has been a child or teenaged character from an established single novel or book series. The Pensieves, the Baudelaires, Alice, Peter Pan and Wendy, Max... Goldilocks just doesn't fit this mold because she's from a tale more akin to a fable than an actual full-length story.

3. Goldilocks could actually be considered the antagonist of her story. She breaks into someone's home, sleeps in their beds, eats their food... doesn't exactly sound like a pleasant character to me. I think someone else mentioned this earlier (sorry, can't remember who -- and I'm on my phone so I can't look it up atm). No other character who we currently know of can be considered anything other than a protagonist. Even Red Riding Hood, who broke the previous point I made, is still the "hero". This is probably the biggest tip-off to me.

4. PP still hasn't told us her ability, if she has one. Not as much of a deal-breaker as the others, since there are other players who have remained quiet on this front. But it still leads me to be wary of her.

What items have you used PP? I am not sure if I believe this because that's literally what Trilt said his power was. HOWEVER, my ability REALLY is having items. At first I thought I didn't have an ability, but the mod corrected me by saying "your ability is having an affinity for items so don't think you don't have one". So, this could truly be your ability since we have learned that more than one person can have the same ability (I think). I am just not 100% convinced yet.

As for teepster, they PM'd me telling me they were christopher robin. They could have been lying by I trusted them.

Being Goldilocks, when Dorothy showed up, I figured aloha was lying because the two story types are so different. The mods/mentors have since cleared this confusion up...but now you see where I was coming from

I haven't used one yet because my ability hasn't nabbed me one yet. Like I said, I'm not sure if it's random, if I'm supposed to pick the right person to steal from, etc.

2. The age doesn't bother me so much as the "not being from an established novel or book series thing" does. Dorthy still fits that requirement; Goldilocks does not. Also... isn't Dorothy a teenager? So is Violet and I've all but confirmed that that is who I am.

Possibly? I didn't think there was an actual, full-length novel on the story, but I could be wrong. Strengthens our argument even more, though, if this is the case.

3. Hence me needing to research it. I asked my mentor about this as well because I wasn't sure what to make of it. She basically said that I helped myself to some things, but I was ultimately gruesomely killed.
2. Again, hence why I was so quick to jump on aloha and anyone else who initially role revealed. I thought the same thing. "If I'm Goldilocks (an old folk tale), why is Dorothy here?" That's exactly why I voted aloha. I can't tell you why the mods chose who they did, but based on the opening post, I actually fit the theme much better than any other character here (folk tales, fairy tales, children).
 
Also, one of my role restrictions was that I must talk like Goldi. Which I have since forgotten, as the friendly mods have just gently reminded me. I'm too sorry 🙂

These are good points... I am so scared we are going to lynch another villager tonight :'( I'm still suspicious of Kam. I can't get rid of the thought that whenever I was cawing about Hayley, she said that my caws meant nothing. I can't get rid of that point.

I have a test and other classses until 3:30, so I won't be on as much as I was this morning. Wish me luck.. Lol.

I do think that Kam makes a likely Chaos, but I never got to explaining why I thought this yesterday. Here goes:

This is exactly what I think happened--with you. As we all know, I confirmed that you HAD met up with Pan, and then speculation led to the suspicion you may have acquired his ability.

Well, yesterday...a shadow was stolen again. Knowing what I know, I think it's obvious that you're the only one who could possibly have this power now.
 
The argument against PP is very compelling. I was convinced she was a wolf at the beginning of the game for the same reasons--Goldi can be considered an antagonist (it was me you're thinking of that brought this up before, Ketoone), and was a crone in the original version (also something I noticed after a hint from LoTF).

But, I got some info from Peter that made me reconsider (get into that in a moment)--there are a few things I've since considered that made me unsure, and I think could be important:

-Yes, Goldi could be considered an antagonist, but some of our roles are specifically designated as "naughty" children, allowing Krampus to target us. Huck was one, and Max was one. Pan was another, but didn't count for the villagers. There have to be more than that, right? Otherwise, Krampus's ability wouldn't be very useful. I think Goldi would probably count as another "naughty" child, which would make for 3 true villagers that Krampus could block. 3 of 18 seems more reasonable to me than 2 of 18, but who knows.

-I originally thought that Goldi was trick from the Mods--that she was actually the old crone from the original version, and that they would spring it on us at the reveal. But now, it seems to me like that doesn't fit in well with the folklore monster theme we're getting. I think if she is Goldi, she's the child version--a bit impudent and intrusive, but that fits with the naughty theme. If she was a wolf, I think she would be an entirely separate monster, meaning Goldi would be a random cover, and the old-crone bit wouldn't be important.

So, I didn't know initially if I could believe what PBC had told me, but some of it has since turned out to be true. She told me that she knew the abilities of Ketoone and Finn and Pink (and what they were--that Finn could kill and Ketoone could make items and Goldi could steal people's items--which is not actually exactly what she's claiming, so I'm not sure why she would obfuscate if it were true). Finn and Ketoone have since proven to be right. I'm assuming now that means she stole all of these abilities, and that's how she knows. She could have been lying to me about Pink--she was Chaos, afterall. So I'm not sure.

It's sketchy that Goldi is claiming a different version of her ability than what I was told, so I don't know about that.
 
Oops, to clarify, I just mean that you stole someone's shadow for yourself, not that you turned an ability back on the person who owned it like you're implying with the silencing 😛

Nothing was allowed to happen last night, so it's pretty interesting that you're now claiming to have "sleuthed" on me last night, particularly after all the suspicion that's surrounded you. Trying to claim I'm chaos so if I vote for you, I'll be the only one? Convenient, huh?
 
Kam, I can't tell if you're making really good points or if you're a really good wolf. I have always suspected devastating but never had concrete evidence. Until just now, if what you say is true.

I suspect this to be the case, based off the number of wolves mentioned in the night write-up where Trilt was killed.

Unless Steph was converted on resurrection, which is a who-knows at this point, I think.

Sorry, meant LAST night cycle, as in the night before yesterday, not this past night with the horn (nothing new found out tonight, of course!)
