No, you're missing the point. This game is intended to stay within this thread or any approved PM's. You cannot use another thread to play this game.

Also, how many times do mods/mentors have to say that profile stalking is a waste of your time? Too repetitive.

Good then, so if you didn't see it, it doesn't matter, and I don't know why you're getting so up in arms about it. I'm not the first person on this thread to make a mistake about what is allowed by the rules. I apologize and won't do it again.

Also, you seem to be getting kind of personal about everything. Sorry to blow up your spot, pink, but I'm just playing a game.

I certainly do not intend it to come off that way. I just wasn't aware that the likes were against the rules. I've apologized, and I brought it up myself in the thread, which I wouldn't do if I thought it was cheating.

Also, you're misleading everyone by making it seem like I was hiding the fact you were Chaos. You shouldn't say you've been liking/unliking posts of mine for days. According to my alerts that I've now looked at, you've done it a whopping one time.

You are chaos. No matter who the wolf is, you must be lynched first. That's the bottom line here. You can mislead, lie, and sneak all you want. You made a mistake in info dumping, and that can't be retracted now. Chaos is less trustworthy than any wolf out there.
 
I tried to resurrect a villager last night but I just sent in my request and SOV simply replied with noted. Since everyone's abilities were blocked last night I don't think it counted as it being used on someone. I will try again tonight if I can.

It's just a game, guys. Maybe I'm looking into it too much, but some of the tones people seem to be taking on are a wee bit over-the-top, IMO.

I'm going to go study for genetics for a bit; I'll be back later to see how the night turns out. Godspeed, fellow villagers.

Pink, I'm worried you're taking offense to me railing against you, and I just want to make sure you know that I respect you very much as a player and a person, but I'm just trying to play the game. I want you lynched, but that's all. 🙂

I just want to add that my lynch for pinkpuppy has nothing to do with the post-liking thing.

My biggest worry is that no one will block pinkpuppy tonight and she will do some heavy damage or create new wolf puppies.

Oh please. It's a game. How you choose to treat other players and play it is what determines my approach back. I'm also kind of over the whole "She's not posting, she MUST be a wolf!" line. I'm in veterinary school. Enough said. I have finals next week. My face = :scared: I'm too stressed.

I understand that you want to be spared from the lynch, but it would be too illogical to do so, even if I was the wolf. We've already explained exactly why. Your info dump is the exact same attempt Caiter/Trilt both made at the last possible second, and look where it left us. Based on previous games, Chaos cannot be trusted.

KEEP GAME-RELATED STUFF IN THE GAME THREAD. I didn't think this needed to be mentioned, but for pete's sake. If the dead aren't allowed to make an outside thread to chat about the game, then it makes sense to keep anything game related in the thread. Don't branch out.

Sorry Gwen, I realize that now, I was taking the rules too literally. Glad it didn't end up affecting the game, and I'll know for next time. My apologies!
 
Mod Announcement and Also Experienced Player Advice:

Likes have been around for long enough now, that they are just part of the game. As you all have already seen, wolves like villager posts. Is this strategy? Yes. Is it allowed? Why not? Unless a mod has specifically said no liking in their game, it is just another layer of game play. As was seen, half the time people have no idea what the message to be conveyed is anyway, if there even was one. So just like someone not checking in every thirty minutes, it means nothing. Or sometimes it does. The only thing I have been harping on this game is that the dead are dead, and therefor need to stay out of the game in every way except some popcorn eating gifs occasionally or a moral boost.

So it is allowed to attempt to take game play to separate threads across SDN?
 
I do see everyone's points now, and I understand why it would rub you the wrong way. I didn't think it was against the rules at the time, but I can see now that it does add something to my game that not everyone can see and analyze just by reading the thread. so I get it. I definitely won't do it again, and I apologize to anyone I offended.

Oh don't worry. I don't think anyone's offended, I just think it's a low blow kinda thing. Forget the fact that you were way too subtle about it. IMO it's similar to a PM in that not everyone will see it like you said. I feel like strategically liking/unliking posts within this thread would be more obvious. I was wondering why you kept saying I had a message earlier. I was like :shrug:

Ah, I did miss that. Well, no one has ever done that before, so that is a new one. Generally there isn't any relationship from a normal thread into the game thread. It is certainly unconventional. I would say that indeed, all game play needs to occur within the thread to remain fair. The likes however within the thread, is at least clear.

SOV only has a few minutes here.
1) The cross thread issue is unresolved in WW. In past games where there was silencing, some people(ahem SOV) would post on every single thread to make sure everyone knew they (I) were alive and silenced. I even created a silencing thread once. Neither of those strategies were popular with mods. In general this kind of game play is now strongly discouraged. I think if you can interpret your action as a way of bypassing the rules, then you shouldn't do it (do as i say, not as i do). So I wouldn't sanction Cam, but would request no one else try this again.

2) regarding people's "tone" in playing the game. Discussions in WW get heated. This is normal. We call people liars, we call them stupid, *****s etc. You should not take any of this personally. IF I did that, I would hate @LetItSnow 's guts, or @DVMDream and others, but I actually love these guys. What happens in WW stays in WW. Short of a really personally insult, don't worry too much about the back and forth. And absolutely don't hold game play against someone outside of this thread. You will all lie, you will all deceive, you will all break promises and assurances. It is part of the fun. As for the slutty comment, I don't see anything wrong with that feminism or not - and if you knew my name you would probably find it humorous. If it was not said with intention to hurt, I don't see the problem. Anyway, those are my opinions.

Sadly I have an early morning flight tomorrow so you won't hear much more from me... happy lynching.

yes and no. It is on the edge of the rules , and it would be over the line for others.

some mods like mod justice and will just kill the character if they don't like what they did whether it was explicitly stated or not.

I would warn the person not to do it again if I feel it is over the line, and I am saying to Cam it is over the line for me.

Adults (I know WZ isn't an adult yet but I include her) should be able to know when they are taking risk and pushing the envelope
