this works on 2 levels for some of us 😀 😉

Omg, when someone says, "my uncle/grandpa/dad is a vet", I get so excited and try to talk to them about their career, until they explain that they meant war veteran. Gets me every time

STB did a really nice job with the etch-a-sketch, I think. She used it to send me confirmation that Caiter couldn't be trusted to keep me railing against her without outing herself as the seer on the thread. I ended up having to post it publicly to distract from a rising frenzy against me, but even then, she managed to keep her name out of things. It seemed to me like she was sitting back and letting everyone assume Dev was our "seer", or close to it, too, to stay out of the line of fire.

And I think Teep just got pretty unlucky with the people she ended up PMing with. 😀 We did work together to set up a "code" of sorts, to pass info we learned after our PM cycle was over, but unfortunately for Teep she ended up with me as Chaos and Trilt as a wolf back to back!

And LoTF, the first time I posted that I didn't suspect Pink anymore (right after my conversion), I remember feeling a little bit guilty, picturing you reading at home and yelling angrily at the computer screen! You had her pegged from the get-go.

Overall, this was a crazy fun game, and a great introduction to WW. I think we're definitely ready for trial-by-fire with the geezers :oldman:.

There and a few other places +pissed+
My phone has a few new dents

Yep. That is why some of you got glowing reviews. Most of my statements are broad to help everyone think about some of this. There are always some nooblets that take to water the instant they are dropped in the ocean, while others need some floaties. But the goal is for everyone who desires to play the game to get into the details and have a good time playing the game. 👍

Frankly, I thought I was being completely foolish when I repeatedly asked for role reveals. I thought I may have asked/brought it up more than anyone else, or at least it felt like it because I was always worried when I did. Now you all know why, though! That and going along with everyone who was voting to lynch villagers based on inactivity was a weak strategy too, lol. Also, once people started revealing some abilities, that determined a lot of wolf action too
That behavior is in fact super wolfy haha

Yeah I really didn't think too hard when it came to playing lol. Everyone's random suspicions usually worked in the wolves' favor
In this game yes, but that's because the villagers for the most part didn't know what to look for when things started out.

Actually, I think Teep got super lucky! I was going to be staying much more subtle with my Max charade until he PM'd me and I realized that I'd be super super suspicious if I didn't have something. It wasn't until after I realized I was going to have to role reveal (to him at least) that I started dropping more blatant hints for Max (like "rumpus"), and then when SFSteph claimed the role it all went to crap haha. I think before then I was pretty much flying under the radar?

I was holding my breath in anticipation of you telling Teep that you were Max. Imagine my surprise when you didn't immediately pay for that. You did very well in covering with these poor noob villages people. I couldn't believe though after they saw you were a wolf and hadn't in fact used "Village Code" with the black bolding of your name, they didn't go back and see Caiter had done the same thing. It is so hard being a village newb! hahahahaha

I'm honestly surprised no one went back and checked after that haha

You should have heard the cursing in my house when I realized I didn't bold it. I had even taken note of that in the descriptions and had planned to do so, but the sticky note app I used to copy/paste from doesn't bold stuff, urgh! So I dropped the spreadsheet comment as soon as I could make it fit in conversation...

You make me want to mod one of these, haha. It'd be fun to watch people deal with this from the outside!

Yes, modding can be a blast. It takes much time and effort though, especially as the game is made as complicated as we had it with basically everyone having a power and keeping track of items, one of which was to make another item and also having an ability to make items, then keeping track of all the rules of action for everyone and everything...

You can see why when people don't play the game with effort some mods can get a bit testy.

Oops Teep, realized I confused my pronouns again. I promise I really do know you're a he!

I felt so smart and sure when I caught that, but of course I felt doubt as soon as you were like "spread sheet"! Lol

This is actually another great pointer offered for the village. If you have that kind of situation where both players have revealed and you have one stating that they can bring someone back and another player that is not claiming an ability, especially when there has been further doubt cast with a seemingly small detail such as bolding, you do not lynch the player that can rez someone. LOL

STB played really well.

Kam, damn, you picked up on Caiter for an exact reason I would have. It was well thought out. Then you got slightly crazy, but that's ok, crazy happens.

Trilt did ok on the wolf side. Just the creating a false identity finally caught up with her. But sometimes as a wolf you do have to gamble like that.

I got crazy when I was turned in to a wolf.. I don't think I make a good wolf. Lol

Wolfing is hard! But the way you freaked out when you came under suspicion definitely didn't work in your favor. Way too desperate for a villager at that point in the game. Just a thought for the next time you find yourself wolfing 🙂

I thought I was 150% dead the moment she started talking about screenshotting, haha.

Any noob wolves will really only learn when they are paired with a veteran wolf. I was so fortunate that I had @nohika my first time wolfing in the GB game. I pulled off the win on that one thanks to her and it set the foundation as to why I can wolf well today. I miss her and will :biglove:her forever due to that game.

Wolfing with @DVMDream was definitely my best wolf experience up to that point 😀 first time being an original wolf with a veteran

This (and how exuberantly Hazel took to it) was what made PBC's crow pie so much fun this game. I've started reading the game where DVMD had to post in memes...a lot of the links are broken, so it's killing me not to be able to see what she was posting!
For a good chunk of time, I was convinced Mouse must have a really juicy ability to make up for what I thought was a stringent posting restriction...:smack:

Which game was I posting in meme?

I bet it was an SOV game.

Ninja'd you with my edit. 😛
I think every once in a while the wolves get to do something "horrible" strategy-wise because nobody thinks they would do it. Like MJ and DocE vouching for each other in Necromancers.

Come to think of it, maybe it's just STL's games that make the wolves do crazy stuff...

That game still makes me bitter. There is no way that should have happened with all the info I left for everyone.

The SOV game where the dead were the only ones who could lynch vote! Haven't finished it yet (57 pages, we're not the only chatty ones), but it's certainly interesting so far...

Oops Teep, realized I confused my pronouns again. I promise I really do know you're a he!

It's ok. I used to wrongly assume everyone was a male here for some reason. I've since realized that there's a larger number of women here. Is it about 75/25 like vet school is, or greater?

That's interesting. I wonder if they get more male applicants than other schools.
I'm not sure. This was brought up during one of our town hall meetings today as they were discussing diversity. They mentioned penn's stats and how we compare nationally, and while we are slightly above national average for several areas of diversity, they feel it's not good enough given the urban setting, and are actively working on generating interest in vet med in various minority groups (minority for vet med, not US population overall).
