Official start to epidemiology PhD program. My vet school university doesn't have a public health PhD program, so I'm going to a nearby school that does. I went there for an MPH between 2nd and 3rd years of vet school and am pretty happy about moving back 🙂.

Cue as many jokes as you want about how I'm never leaving school.

I need to check my schedule at work tomorrow before I commit. I know we're taking mock boards sometime this week and I'm doing an externship at a commercial diagnostic lab I'd like to work at in the future for part of next week so I need to see what's going on the other days and make sure I'll have time. And if I'm on clinics the third week then I'm out...I can't properly 'clinics' and WW.

But also just realized that I should declare I will be out of town this Friday to Sunday. Should have cell reception enough to ww on Friday in Banff and maybe a check in on Saturday and Sunday depending on reception in Jasper. But most of the time I am running a leg of a massive relay race, so figured declaring that now is prudent before I inevitably become apparently sketchy as per usual hahaha

Hahaha. I figured that would be the immediate reaction.

Banff is gorgeous and I'm lucky to live only an hour away. I doubt I'll enjoy it much this weekend though as I'll be wondering what on earth possessed me to run a relay.

Other than the fact I was very unhealthy after second year and have been getting my fitness back on track. Down 10 lbs and about to go run a 6.4 baby leg ain't too bad for one month of being srs about my life
