I mean, I don't have an strong reason to vote for cdoconn. I'm only entertaining it because 1) STL has a hard-on for cdoconn all game, and 2) cdoconn's constant "period vanillager" was weird.

And my vote for STL isn't very strong, either. It's pure gut, which isn't a strong argument in the face of his "why I can't be a villager" arguments. Those aren't fantastic either, but they also aren't completely without merit.

It's going to seem retaliatory for me to bring up PBC, but I don't like the multiple times she popped on the thread to say "sorry, busy," and that she didn't give any reason at all for her vote for Zen (in fact she didn't mention Zen at any other point in the game until after she was lynched). So I went on a PBC ISO since I had some time...

The shade thrown at lyra here was weird (in that I don't really understand what she was getting at).



And her only mentions of coop were soft support. So that doesn't do her any favors either.

I just think it's a little ironic (is that irony?) that she is calling me out for not having what she considers good enough reasons for my suspicions of the known wolves, and yet...her deep analysis has been on now-confirmed villagers (pippy, genny) or people who are on my village list (3m, STL...myself 😛), and she hasn't said much about the now-confirmed wolves at all. Only other post on lyra I could find was piggybacking off of something that I said, and which PBC failed to mention in her analysis of me earlier on this page. I had forgotten about that post until now, but if PBC ISO'd me it now feels like she was cherry picking.


I would like to hear others' feeling on PBC because I am a little hesitant, since I know my judgment at the moment might be clouded by annoyance at her reading of me.

Oh, I never claimed that my feels have been on or that my analysis of anyone has netted wolf lynches. I was looking at the way you tossed around wolf players seemingly without analysis - just feels - and it was weird to me.

I sincerely was busy Friday/Saturday. I jumped on, saw there was a tie, and went with my gut. I didn't vote for Zen specifically because I thought she was a wolf, but because I didn't want to leave it tied and she was my favorite of the two.
 
Also, because this might pile on me, I'm at work and I won't be back on until after day closes. I won't be able to get on later to give any defense.
 
Well since I am in the lead with less than 2 hours left, here is my defense:

If people believe I am an original: Do you think that Trilt started with 4 total possible wolves or 3 at 18 people? 1:3.5 ratio or 1:5. 1:3.5 is traditional modding (and this is a basics game), 1:5 is not. Look at the discussion during the last speed game, where trilt modded, regarding numbers. Trilt confirmed that I was correct in my thoughts on all of it, that she believed 13 people should have a designation of 3 wolves (she was going back and forth on 2 or 3 wolves until number 13 person was added). 18 players should have a designation of 4 wolves by that extrapolation. Meaning at 19 players, I would have gotten added as wolf number 5. that ratio is atrocious, that's less than a 1:3 ratio, and would result in a super unfair game to villagers. Both me and DVMD were snuck in to try and prevent people from realizing that we werent part of the original roster, this way we couldn't use the argument that I am using now. Since snowy picked up on the fact that I got added late, I could then talk about it.

If I was an original: what do you believe happened on night 3, where I claimed to have lost a life and no one refuted the claim?

If I am an original: I got seered 2 nights ago, and no one has brought my name up. Is the claim then that I am an unseerable wolf, or that the seer is sitting on seer results of a wolf?

If I am a convert: When was I converted, do you believe night 3? Why would I bring attention to myself on a no kill night if I was converted. I do dumb things, but that would be pretty silly.

If I am a convert: There has consistently been low level suspicion and a lynch expiration date on me since early in the game, why would wolves choose to convert someone like that.

If I am a convert: I got seered 2 nights ago, you can't claim that I am an unseerable convert, which means the claim is I got seered either at the conclusion of that night (order of operations) or last night. In any event, this doesn't correlate to bussing activities, as I would have voted those people as villagers.

So the big criticism I am going to get is: How do we even know there is a seer? (I mean, it's WW, there is going to be a seer, but if we take that logic out for half a second). I will essentially have backed myself into a corner for final 3. So that's nice and all that I would have claimed to have been seered, but if no one claims seer in final 3, and no one is dead, then it's game over, and I would lose as a wolf. If we even disregard that, i am fairly confident someone in this game got notified that they were seered last night (it's possible that the seering is EON, I personally doubt it), so someone in this game should be able to verify the existence of a seer. If I am making this claim that I am a seer and the seer is in the game and knew I wasn't seered, they would call me out.

The point is, I am not following the logic to lynch me now. Nyanko has stuff out for me, I get it. LIS is always skeptical of me, also get it. But you have to have some idea of what you are proposing to lynch (are you making the argument for an original or convert), as that leads to me making two very different defenses.

FWIW, I have had a pretty fantastic game for myself thus far and have had fairly good reads. I know I could be bussing constantly, and it's not out of character for me. But I personally wouldn't have taken an approach to be the last wolf standing in a game where I have had a target on my back since fairly early in the game.

That's about all I got, I have a two page paper to write tonight, but I will be procrastinating it, so I will be on. But I probably won't post another long post like this, so this is essentially my defense.

OK. But the only wolf you can legitimately say that I didn't offer actual analysis on was Zen - and yeah, that was a total feels vote, I saw STL was feeling strongly about her too, so I went with it.
But for coop I talked about the wording of a particular post and why that was suspicious, I brought up a couple times that her play style had changed after d1 and why that was suspicious, along with the fact that she tended to pop on the thread rather quickly when her name was mentioned, and I brought up that she was not responding to suspicions at all in the way she normally does. Hell, one of the two main conclusions of my Zen ISO analysis was that I still wanted to lynch coop, based on multiple interactions between the two of them. Just because I didn't have time to quote every one of her posts and break it down word by word doesn't mean there wasn't analysis involved, nor is bringing up a player across multiple days something I would consider "tossing around". She was the player I wanted lynched since d1, and that never changed, I just chose to put my vote somewhere else when the lynch wasn't gaining traction.

I stated specific reasons for my feelings about lyra as well, and she would have been my next vote if they hadn't both died with the tie.

The fact that you downplayed this is why I'm suspicious. Because what you're saying as your reasoning for lynching me isn't true if you are actually looking at all of my posts. Sure, I could have been bussing them, but that isn't what you're claiming. So I'm not sure if you're being intentionally misleading, or if you're just not actually reading my posts. I'm inclined to think the former, because why attempt the analysis if you aren't going to actually look at everything?

For what it's worth I would feel the same way even if it were another player that you had done this faulty analysis on.
 
Just getting here, need to get caught up, but skimming quickly, this post from cdoc seemed weird to me...like maybe not the most villager response?

Honestly, I was feeling village for STL up until that weird post he tagged me in today claiming I was the day vig? Umm no...weird. And if I was and had two kills (like the game that I actually was the day vig) and not just one, calling me out on the thread seems like a bad village move.
 
Okay every time I ignore a little nagging feeling about STL, he ends up being wolf or chaos and I regret it...not gonna do it this time. I'd rather him flip village than be the wolf we missed.

So is everyone going to ignore the defense? Where is the logic in not waiting with the fact that I was seered. That is probably the most frustrating part to me.

You and AM have had a history all game and I thought you had done a retaliatory type of kill, and would have been both slightly mad and disappointed. The fact that it wasn't you means I am inclined to believe it was a wolf doing it

Who do you think seered you? I can't tell wolf from villager, but I can see abilities (this includes wolf kill ability - I asked - so I can't do dick about affiliation). And you still had an ability the night after you claimed you had none left. So either you lied, or you got another one.

What's the ability? You will see in a minute that I have used up "everything", all I had was one night avoidance. If that's the seering that was put into the game, then we are in an essentially seer less game, fantastic

I am not told what it is. Only if people have them or don't have them. So yeah, a pretty weak seering mechanism, but it doesn't change the fact that you came up positive when you said you weren't.
 
I am at least less upset about this lynch as I apparently wasn't affiliation seered. If I had been and this happened, I would be pissed.
 
I'm not entirely sure how to feel about this. Usually with LIS rule #? they only lynch themselves in lieu of a wolf brag but STL is voting himself and still trying to claim village..?

I have a paper due and two tests the rest of this week. Rather get out now in a sweet spot, so I am very okay with this. But I am a villager

I'm not ignoring it. I'm trying to be rational, but my STL-skepticism is getting in the way.

I'm not sure how we're supposed to wait on the fact that you were seered. I mean... what are we waiting for?

Ok. It seems there was a misunderstanding between "ability" and "role". I was indeed told "ability"for STL, and I interpreted that as him currently having one, which mean he was either lying or got another one, and I wondered if it wasn't a conversion given that wolf kill ability is also deemed an "ability" because I asked, since I figured I couldn't do affiliation with that the oriignal PM sent. I had to clarify with Trilt that she was using the terms role/ability interchangeably while I was interpreting them as separate things since a person could have a role but not an ability anymore if they had used it. I'm not sure if she is allowed to verify that we discussed this matter.....but it appears it was an misunderstanding in terms of interpretation of results.
