Not much to go on from yesterday, might as well get the ball rolling.

An earlyish vote for someone with no other votes seems like a pretty safe D1 move for a wolf. And Lotf lynches have taken off somewhat easily in the past.
 
Every time trilt and kam post, I want to lynch then both. Absolutely no good reason to do so, just feel compelled to...But for now.... I am going to go with **********lynch html****** super under the radar and even forgot she was playing

Had Veronica's computer last night. Asked how many wolves we had.

Response was that the computer glitches and froze a few times but the answer was 1.
 
I'll stick with my start vote yesterday and

I assume this means genny was the wolf kill last night?

Trilt and Kam are making me nervous as well, not least of which because they post right around the same time (like they're strategizing? idk).

It occurs to me that we're essentially in late game already due to the low numbers, yet I still don't even know who all is playing!

Although we lynched the quiet player yesterday who turned out villager so not the soundest strategy but I'm still of the mindset that it's better to lynch the quiet ones if you have nothing else to go on.

Sorry for the rambling post. Haven't played in awhile and the lack of PMing (we can't PM right? did I miss a rule about PMs? it's hard to play on a non-laptop/computer) makes me ramble on in thread

Ugh I just realized I'm agreeing with STL. I take back my suspicions. 😛

No I just know you two are a dynamic duo of ruthlessness so it's hard to figure you guys out. But I like having you around because you're also smart and fun players 😀
 
I feel like STL is constantly trying to lynch me so who knows what's stopping him this time. 😛

probably for the best 😛.

But the funny thing is they are normally on opposite teams. I just am not sure which is ringing my alarm bells more.....

I also do know that there is at least 1 convert in the game. So just because it came up as 1 last night, the stalling of the computer might have indicated that it was a conversion night, and order of operations had it come back as 1 instead of two. Just a thought.

Idk if I've ever played a WW game WITH you as opposed to you modding. Maybe that's just your game play but you seem ansty to lynch.

I think you'll find if you look back, that is my typical d1 play style. I don't particularly like d1 votes at all, but I especially don't like d1 bandwagons because no one knows anything and no one has even said much so you can't pass judgement on that aspect either.

I typically play from my phone, but ever since the iOS 10 update my phone has been stupid and the battery drains super fast, so yeah, I'll admit to being a little extra quiet so far, but good news, I have a new phone waiting for me at home, so my battery drain problems will soon be over!
 
Yeah, I feel you. That's kind of my point, though--your vote wasn't suspicious, it was solidly ordinary. Posted early enough to not be seen as "quiet", doesn't draw attention by adding to any piles. Safe. My guess would be that the only wolf in the game on D1 (if we can trust the comp) would be especially careful not to make an impression.

Thin, and plenty of others who might fit the bill. But I'm as happy with it as anything else right now.

Anyways, I'm thinking lynch saki because he pulled the "no good reason" thing and then explained it by saying his mind wasn't in it.
 
Nah, call it antsy to lynch for sure. We lynch someone daily... that's how these games work (STL variants notwithstanding). I want a lynch with as much convo and information as possible, so I try and get them going asap. Otherwise it's a couple hours of empty thread and a stupid rush in the last hour.

Also KC that is some pretty horrid reasoning... strategizing to post different lynch votes? At times that juuuust so happen to be shortly after night close/game open? 😛

I'm always 17x sketchier as a lame role'd villager than a wolf. Feel free to look through any games I've played for me saying exactly that... I play brashly and usually get myself night killed for being a PITA by about mid game. But I generally get a wolf or two and it's fun, so #worthit. 😀

It's when I'm quiet or still around 2/3rds of the way through that you should worry. 😉

2) I am so goddamned pissed right now about FAFSA and college apps and how the FAFSA system thingy is not working and how my mom thinks she can control my life and tell me what I should do. I'm not pulling random excuses from my ass.

I actually don't mind playing on my phone, it just sucks because my phone hasn't been working. My new phone is in the process of being activated though, so YAY! But BOO to apple for acting like this isn't a problem that many people are experiencing after the update, but they claim it's just a coincidence.

I was going to vote someone but I am going to lynch trilt again to break tie and for getting way too defensive about the "don't lynch for no good reason" thing. It's the first day (I can usually get my bearings and vote with a reason by day 2) and I don't know the rest of you well enough to know personal nuances and play style, so what else am I supposed to do?

I repeat: you're supposed to give a reason so that when we get further into the game and look back at game play to try and use logic, not just feels, it isn't just a bunch of nothing. Plus, then people can actually defend against a vote, pick apart reasoning, and catch liars in contradictions later. Makes it harder for wolves to stay hidden when they have to justify themselves.

Some games have no theme, no power roles, and you have nothing to bounce your ideas off of... that doesn't mean there's nothing to talk about, or that votes have to just be random. First day is the same. If you have no reason to vote for someone, get conservation going and find one. Or, you know, be lazy and just throw a random vote out the whole game and then bitch about games being unbalanced at the end.
 
Also ask yourself if asking people to justify their votes is particularly wolfy behavior in, well, any shape or form, or if you're just falling victim to voting for someone who is making waves.

I could totally be a wolf bluffing the crap out of you. But especially in light of the info that there was only one wolf to start... does that seem like smart behavior? Or do you not think it more likely the wolf is hiding in the quiet masses?

I'm going to continue basically talking to myself here until someone else joins in or ya'll lynch me, and you guys just have to live with it. 😛
