Other than that the school itself is very good but I'm a bit bummed we didn't get to see the anatomy lab.
We got to see the anatomy lab! Sucks for you! Haha. It was ok, just a bunch of cadavers laying around... You know, the normal cold sterile feeling with the oh so awesome chemical smell...

In addition, they asked me specifically:
What is something that we dont know about you? I said that I like to bake and cook...
What will you do about patients not being able to pay for their services or what will you do about not being able to make enough money due to the insurance companies not paying you what you ask for? This was HARD. They wanted a solution from me, and all I could say was that not all people have insurance, and as a physician I would not refuse care to anyone, even if they can't pay. I also said there was really nothing I could do about insurance companies giving me what they want to, if I didnt want to deal with it I could be in a specialty that takes only cash for services, but I would never want to do that. My solution was that all physicians should work in some type of free clinic maybe once a month, this would cut down on many patients in your area coming to your office who are not able to pay for services... Sucky answer...
We see you have a lot of research experience, how will research play a role in your life as a physician? I said that I want to work on a campus and teach, do research and practice medicine when I become a physician... I also mentioned that DOs dont normally do research after they enter the real world of medicine, so this is something that is unique about me... Im sorry, but its true... I backed it up with my past experiences at TCOM...
