I called in on 10/15 and they told me over the phone. Also, this past Monday, I received an official alternate list letter and then a form asking me to sign and date that I do in fact, want to stay one the waitlist. The form is due two weeks after the date of the letter. What's also a little strange is that they asked me to have my transcripts sent in. I though they only wanted these if you get accepted...

Case is not a waitlist. Don't put post-interview holds in the waitlist category because it's not the same thing. They haven't made an official waitlist yet, and you may not be on the waitlist if you're on hold, you could either be accepted or rejected before they make it.

I clearly suck at interviewing. People who get waitlisted at Pitt and Case sure as HELL don't get into Harvard, Duke, Cornell, or Columbia. Why am I bothering with all this nonsense? Ah well, I have Rochester. I really loved my interview day and I'll be happy to matriculate there (although I think I'll feel like **** if I'm such an awful applicant that I get rejected/waitlisted from every other school that I interview at).
