Bah...almost done with CCU. Although, I must say I've enjoyed recruiting thus far. Nice meeting the applicants and very nice being on the other side. 😉

Working...in the CCU most recently. Plus I still browse, but SDN has been lacking a lot of energy lately (even though it's recruitment time).

Ya, ethics in class is really bad.
 
Just found out today that one of my sister's old classmates (in 6th grade) was raped and beaten by her mom's boyfriend. Still in the hospital and still hasn't talked to anyone. The poor girl is going through a rough time that no one should ever have to go through, especially at that age. Just saddens me because I couldn't imagine something like that happening to anyone her age.

She's 12-13 yo. I hope so too. And in jail forever.

hey! droopiness is a little better, but I've been having other problems they are testing me for right now. So far all labs have been normal, but one isn't back yet.

🙁 that sucks!!! i really hope everything comes back clean... nothing sucks worse than when you are on the opposite side of healthcare.

Thanks. I've been so tempted to go to the ED just to get a full work up and get answers so that I don't have to worry about it when I have to go back to class. Or even over the rest of the break.
 
But then I'd be on some dr's hate list.
 
They'd say "there's nothing wrong with you. stop hallucinating problems and no you don't get any drugs." My answer would be "thanks, but I don't need drugs. I've already got plenty of what I would need. What I need is an answer and that's all."

If it were only that easy.
 
Maybe my CC should be "I don't want drugs"

Would probably get me back faster.
 
Does anyone know what an insurance company means by "preferred allowance"? Is this when they set the price they are willing to pay for certain procedures, and you are responsible for the rest?

Don't have one set because they wanted to wait to see what the blood tests showed. Now they are closed until after Christmas.
 
Although if I have a headache that is worse than it was yesterday, I may just go in. 7-9 hours of a headache is bad enough (was probably in the line of a migraine, but I forced myself to function until I took my meds and went to bed at 7:30). And it's not the only time I've had a headache for that long in the past week.
 
Problem is that the dr in my parents' town has been handling it, and I am leaving on the 27th.
 
I may just have to mess with it all when school starts back up again, but I can always keep my hopes up that time will allow things to get better.

the sooner you get it resolved the less it will interfere with your work!!!! i hope everything turns out well; at the end of the day, your health trumps all.

I am trying. Just that everything is closed now til Wed, and I am leaving town on Thurs, so that doesn't leave much time for more investigation. Maybe time to find a neurologist to handle it. Not that it would be faster, but I'd have to find a doctor where I am for school, so might as well go to one of the specialists.

You did get in 3 pads in a row. I hope that I can make some reviews about some programs when I get to that point. I understand the pet peeve though. Hopefully those that are asking are posting their reviews anonymously.
