Like I said in the review, I don't feel like the faculty interview went as well as I hoped. In hind site I would have rather had a group interview, that way I knew all of the app committee would be able to get to know me. The way it was done only gives you access to two people, and in my case the faculty person didn't seem like the type that would go to battle for you if your app wasn't a hard science app with great scores and research under your belt. I felt like the person was a pretty hard core sciences person and not much of a people person. I am a people person that has an interest in science. I am not trying to cure cancer while at SA. I want to work with people and make them feel better. Either way, I know it is out of my hands now and I am just hoping they see the light. I really don't want to wait another year.
Also, just FYI... I spoke with Baylor today and was told that they look at your science DAT scores more than any of the other scores when considering who to invite. Also, make sure that if you say you are going to retake the DAT that you let them know if that changes. I was told my file was on hold pending new DAT scores because I listed reataking it in Aug it in my app.
