There is an essay asking you to talk about your research experience and future goals. Another one asks for you CV (education, employment, research, honors and awards, etc.)

I have been completed since early July. RD. I was wandering if any RDs have heard about their applications.

Am I trippin' ? or has no one post the prompt for the secondary for MUSC. If I missed it please direct me there.

I am OOS but know the area at MUSC very well through personal experience. Last year I had a 2 OOS friends who got interview invites during the fall semester. I won't start fretting until January, but I am hoping to hear in October or Nov!

Oh, that's good news! I only said the above because that's what was mentioned on my secondary application ('we won't consider out of staters until January')

I am ED and have not heard anything yet, I thought I heard ED interviews run through the end of September, so I would assume invites are sent out to the end of august...
 
Just FYI, one of my friends who is an IS ED applicant just got the invite today...not sure if this is helpful to you guys...but Best of luck!!! 🙂
 
IS regular applicant here..but i dont think we hear back until mid september
 
I am IS as well. I contacted them about a month ago, and they told me that I shouldn't expect anything until mid/end of September.
Just waaaaaiting. 🙂

Got interview invite today for ED!!! They must be trickling out now, good luck to everyone still waiting (the wait is half the battle).

USC usually sends out invites really early but MUSC usually will only send out invites three weeks in advance, so they probably will get some out by end of next week.

Not yet, I go this Friday. I had a friend that just went in the past Friday but have not got an update yet...

I am just guessing that it is more than 100 applicants. They accepted about 34 applicants last year only from early decision.

Do you know anything about regular decision interviews?

I didn't think EDP would be that popular. That is a high number of acceptances.

I don't think those have started going out yet... not sure though. I assume there is one more weekend after this coming one for EDP interviews. RD invites should go out soon?

From what I've heard ED acceptances go out Sept 28th. Last year's first RD interview group was on Oct 1st, and since interviews are always on Friday I would assume this year's will be Oct 7th.

I received an invitation yesterday morning for an interview that will take place October 7. I'm IS and regular decision.

Interview invites for the first round of IS regular decision, which is Oct. 7th, are out. II For the second week of interview should go out sometimes next week.

good to know. i know that they rank each candidate by their mcat and gpa and then send out invites in that order.
 
Has anyone heard back on ED? I thought we would know on the 28th, but no word yet.

I interviewed on the 23rd.
