no. I'm trying to find out too. I talked with admission office and they told me that they do it by the end of this week.
please keep us updated if you find something new.

I'm an OOS and sent in my secondary about a month ago and still haven't heard anything. Does anyone know how long it takes or they just don't care about OOS applicants?

They won't look over OOS until November or December. I'm in the same boat.
 
A quote from the Application Progress page:

"Out of state resident files will be reviewed in Nov & Dec. for possible interviews in the spring."
 
I submitted 9/14 IIRC. No, it wasn't a month ago but I guess I'm used to hearing something within two weeks like I have from other schools that I've applied to.

If you do, let me know what you find out. I was thinking of calling as well; however, working nights and sleeping during days, I find it hard to wake up during normal business hours. haha!

Jesus dude, that sucks. 😱 I've got to submit/relinquish my acceptance to another school by December. I hope I hurry and get an interview here so I can decide for/against the other schools that I've applied and got accepted to.

I went there to verify that my application has indeed been received, processed, etc. I'm really starting to wonder if I should call or what I should do just to get an idea of when I can/cannot expect to hear from them.

Yep, I got one last Thursday. It's good because it has taken a LOT of the stress out of the application process. I'm just trying to explore my options before I commit myself to a program, ya know? I just wish I would hear from MUSC soon.

yo xlcooplx, i think you should wait until the week of oct. 14 until you call. that way a "one month" deadline will hit before you contact them. also our new mcat scores came out on the 20th. i think i'm going to contact them on thursday if i don't hear from them and ask them about the status of my application, just because i'm confused about how they will look at the completion date of my application i.e. july 5 or september 20 (huge difference!) i'll keep you posted with what they say. 🙂

They would have waited until your mcat scores were released before they considered you application, and I think they don't get the official score release until after we do. So that is probably playing a part in the delay.

I recently got an interview. They are out people! Sirmalcs, do you mind providing some feedback on Interview Day. What it was like? High stress level/ Tough questions etc. I am so excited to interview here!!!!

Do you have to schedule your outside interview yourself?

It is definitely not high stress, I think overall they want to see your personality and empathy towards others. Just brush up on healthcare topics and things you talked about in your app. And you do have to schedule your at home interview. They will provide you with a name and number and you set it up yourself. Good luck with the interview!
 
Does anyone know how often MUSC sends out interview invites?

I submitted my secondary on 9/17 and I am wondering how long it will take before I hear something!
 
I read this somewhere and I thought it was funny. "as a pre-med, you are going to hate weekends because you know that you don't get any emails until Monday."
