Congrats to those accepted!!! Does anyone know if their interviews are over? My status hasn't changed since I sent the secondary, late November...and I have feeling this is a rejection...

I'm not sure how much this helps, but when I got my invite (mid Jan) they had dates open through the end of March. As far as I know, March is the last month of interviews. However, I do not know how many of these dates are left or if they are still sending invites.

It's not over yet. I interviewed in early December, and by mid January I saw someone with an acceptance call who interviewed early January. I was in a state of total despair that day assuming that they'd passed me up. I'm ashamed to admit that I let out more than a few tears on the drive home from work that night. I got out of the shower the next morning to see a message on my phone. I don't think there's a whole lot of rhyme or reason to the order and timing of the calls. I know it's a tough process, but try to keep your head up!
 
Thanks Nibbly! I'll try and keep my head up. This whole process is such a pain.
 
For those wondering if Tufts is still giving out interview invites, I just checked the secondary site and the last two weeks of March are listed as having available interview dates (and this Thursday for some strange reason). So while I'm not sure whether they are still giving out interviews, it appears that there are at least four dates that have not been filled yet.

Still haven't gotten a phone call yet though 🙁
 
one more day of waiting. man, this is starting to drive me nuts! i thought my interviews both went pretty well... ugh!!!

crossing my fingers for all of us!

I know it's killing me. I thought my interviews went pretty well. The first one I was super nervous since I love tufts so much, but I'm just hoping that came across! The second interviewer told me he was impressed with me as a person...so I thought it went well....now I'm over analyzing it haha. Well good luck!

overanalyzing this process = story of my life. or at least the past several months of my life. good luck to both of us!!!! :xf::xf:
 
Are phone calls still being made? Haha I sure hope so
 
have those accepted received the acceptance email yet? in past months that seems to signify the end of phone calls
 
I JUST GOT THE CALL!!! Wooooooooooooo!!!! So pumped!

Looks like they're still calling people so don't give up hope!

Congratulations!!!!!! That is amazing! I'll try and not get discouraged but I'm so happy for you 🙂. If you don't mind me asking what are your states/ IS or OOS

Thanks! I was giving up hope (actually REALLY giving up because I thought I got a call in the shower but it was from someone else haha) but he came through and even said "it was an easy choice". And to help ease your anxiety he said emails are going out Thursday so maybe they'll call tomorrow too?

I'm OOS from Florida but living in Boston this year and I don't have great stats:

GPA: 3.75
sGPA: 3.51
MCAT: 30R (took it three times)

But I'm a bit of a special case because I am currently doing Tufts SMP and I did really really well in the first semester. Good luck! I really hope all of you get calls too cause believe me I know you all deserve them!!!

Got the call today at about 1:30!!! Beyond excited!!!!

Wow it looks like I'm the only one on here who hasn't gotten a call. I have a 3.9 + GPA a 34R MCAT tons of extracurriculars and I even wrote a LOI for tufts as I have literally wanted to go here since I decided on medical school. I literally am not holding out hope any longer 🙁. Happy freaking valentines day.

But seriously congrats to all those who got in 🙂. At least I can be excited for you!

Ugh... really hoping you get some good news!!! Sorry I know how awfully stressful this is 🙁. Keep your head up! Something will work out!
 
Is there anything more depressing than sitting by the phone on Valentines Day, willing the damn thing to ring, hoping beyond hope to get a call from somebody you had an enjoyable weekend and good conversation with only a month before?

Thank you for sharing. I'm also a 27 year-old man and am hoping to get my first acceptance, so I can imagine the level of relief and pride you must be feeling. Congratulations!

I read on the interview feedback that the guy who likes to ask abstract questions like define the color blue no longer does interview. Can anyone confirm this rumor? Thanks.

Yep. He is not longer interviewing. They told us that at the interview.

I don't think anybody cares LOL. I wonder if he stopped volunteering to do it or they asked him to stop. If it's latter, they should have done it long time ago.

There was no "correct" answer he just wanted to see how you approached it. Apparently he was actually one of the best/kindest interviewers. He came off as tough but if he liked you then you were basically guaranteed a spot. Either way it doesn't matter now.
 
I wish they would just send out the emails. I am tired of having false hope.
