2014-2015 University of New Mexico Application Thread

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
They have accepted 1-11 on the alternate list today.

Hello all. I'm an incoming PrEP student and I was wondering if anyone had suggestions for finding a roommate in Albuquerque or if any other students were possibly interested in getting a group apartment? Feel free to message me. 🙂

Congrats guys! I am so excited for you; being on the wait list must have been killer!

Go see if you can't get onto either the class of 2018 or class of 2019s Facebook pages. There are quite a few people looking around for roommates.

I got accepted into the school I really wanted to go to after my interview. Surprise, it's not UNM. God knew I really wanted this other school and he let UNM not pick me because if UNM had picked me, I would have never taken the chance at this other school. God worked out everything so perfectly for me and I am just glad I don't have to apply here again.

Basically, I am saying that now I am happy/content that UNM did not accept me. I was angry until now. UNM does not deserve any great students. I am glad that New Mexico is opening Burrell. Maybe that school will have more fair standards for picking students.....

I think that is why I love UNM so much. Their definition of "fair" takes into account more about a student than just numbers. I think what some other schools consider "fair" isn't really fair at all. GPA, MCAT, hours shadowing, etc. can only tell you so much about a student.

I'm glad you got into your choice school, I did too, and that school is UNM
