Hi, i just got accepted! Im wondering if any other student are looking for a rommate or knows someone who wants to. I'm out of state btw. Please message me 🙂

How many spaces are left? or how many people that actually got accepted are in that facebook group? Got interviewed this monday. Got interviewed last year also. Afraid of getting waitlisted

The fb group has like 30 ppl that got accepted, the rest are students that are already in SJB. I have no idea how many spaces are left... I'd say 10??

Also apparently some people are waitlisted... I dont see the reasoning behind interviewing more people when there are people being waitlisted?

They dont waitlist because the class is full, they interview a bunch of people and accept some of them and waitlist the others

Does anyone know if it's dangerous to bike to school during daylight?

Dangerous in terms or traffic or crime? In terms of traffic you could literally look up the place on google maps and check out the route you might be taking to see if it seems bike friendly. It depends on where you will be staying but Caguas (like most places in PR) is not very bike friendly.

Thanks for your input! How about in terms of crime? I already saw in google map that there is roads to bike. It takes 30 minutes walking, so about 15 min biking. Im only concerned about the crime.

I'm from Caguas. I will not be studying in SJB but regarding crime I can tell you is not that bad. I would be more concerned with using a bike in Caguas since is not bike friendly at all. Also, after Maria it has become a stressful experience driving in Caguas. If you need more detailed information and guidance, you can message me privately.

yea I wouldn't be concerned about crime but Puerto Rico is not bike friendly :/

Hi everyone, I am an out of state student that has been admitted. I'm looking for roommates to share an apartment with. Please let me know if anyone is interested.

just received a response, I am WL! Has anyone else heard back?

Honestly nobody is giving up their seat at this point. I feel like the last interview is just to waitlist everyone just. In case leople choose another med school

interviewed 5/7
wl 5/21

still hoping for the best !

How many of the people in the facebook page are upcoming students? I feel like most of the fb group are second and third year students waiting to hit on the new freshmen

Has anyone knows something about the school? Are they still accepting from the WL?

Congrats! Any tips for those who are still waiting? Before acceptance, did you call or send any updates?

Thanks! After being WL I sent (by email) another letter of recommendation and called 2-3 times to ask if they were still sending acceptances (to get updates and to keep me on their minds, like hey I'm still here and really want to attend). Coincidentally, on the day I was accepted, I was writing a letter of interest/update that I planned to email to them as well(online you can find tips for what to include).

I hope this helps🙂
