Hello New Students and class of 2028! I just graduated from San Juan Bautista and will be moving; I am selling my car and items from my apartment. If you are interested, please message me.

Hi, folks. Hoping I can find a few people still checking in on this thread to ask a couple of questions of, please.

On the "Initiate Admission Process" page of the SJB website, there's a section called "Required Documents." Altus Suites is mentioned as the last item on this list. However, in the SJB entry of MSAR, it says no situational judgment test is required. For folks that applied, can I ask if you actually had to take CASPer, etc., or something, please? Or is the MSAR entry correct in saying no SJT is required? (Sorry, BTW, if this was addressed somewhere in the fora; couldn't find it, if so.)

And second: Regarding interviews, the MSAR entry notes, "Remote MMI interview can be offered under specific circumstances." Can I ask if anyone interviewed via Zoom? Or did everyone interview in person on PR?

Thanks very much in advance if anyone would be willing/able to weigh in on these. I thought about calling SJB Admissions to ask, but I actually had a bad experience along these lines when applying back in undergrad. I phoned a college admissions office & the person on the phone gave me an answer to a question that I placed reliance on--and that answer turned out to be the wrong one. : / Figured I would just see what people that actually went through the application process would say.

Thanks again!

Casper was a requirement a few years ago. The MSAR data is probably incorrect, I would NOT rely on that for information for SJB. Better to contact the school to confirm information up to date and re-confirm with someone enrolled at school. Like you experienced, sometimes incorrect information is accidentally given so always best to check with a few resources.

Update: As for interview, I'm of the covid generation. Highly recommend coming in person to feel it out and see the campus.

The Casper test was not required. However, I still took it for other schools. It is not that bad but just really serves as another obstacle. I did a zoom interview back in January.
