Brand new here and just got off the waitlist for KCU-Joplin. How are the housing options this late in the game? Will it be difficult to find something good (close to school, preferably one bedroom) by July 15th? Also, I'm trying to decide between here and KYCOM, can anyone give advice on this? Thank you!

Congrats on your acceptance! I would call places and see how waitlists look for apartments. Everything in Joplin is relatively close to the school by car. I live across town and it still only takes me 10 minutes. You are also welcome to message me for questions.

Yes. Public transportation is minimal in Joplin.

I’ve heard tangle wood is a no-go from previous students.
