In case you are referring to WPH/UPMC, APPIC and their website note that interview invites will go out on 11/24.

Can someone clarify if the Rutgers Newark "adult track" that was sent out was the Adult General or the Adult forensic. There are multiple "adult" tracks.
 
UCSF Child and Adolescent Services Multicultural Clinical Training Program (MCTP) notifies applicants of interviews on 11/26/21 with a tentative interview date of 12/1/21 according to APPIC. That seems a bit soon-ish no? Did anyone hear from them?

I've applied to 18 programs and have only heard back from 2. Some of the programs I applied to have sent interview invites and rejections. Any idea what not hearing anything means?

This has been happening to me too and one of the sites reached out yesterday and offered me a waitlist spot.

I hope you're right, but somehow I always assume that if I haven't received an invite via phone or e-mail when others have that its a rejection. Luckily Thanksgiving will give us a few days to forget about all of this.

I am also waiting from Asheville VA! Seems like they were spread out throughout the day yesterday and they typically seem to interview around 39, so that’s a lot of phone calls….. or at least I’m hoping so!

Yeah, I saw they called some today so I imagine they're just calling whenever they can make time. Likely won't hear anything until next week now. Good luck to you!

Maybe because some people have conflicts between multiple interviews and cannot make it, so they offer an interview to an additional candidate? Or someone by chance has to withdraw their application?

How quickly do sites expect an answer for choosing an interview date? I received one this week but would like to wait a little while to see if any other offers come in next week. Is this too long?

I would not wait, I got back to my sites ASAP because I heard that your date can get taken easily. I mapped out all my options in advance so I could rank the dates they give me when I respond. It's been frantic because 2 sites provided the same 2/3 day options.

Thank you for the response! I wanted to map out dates too, but only 1/3 of my sites listed their interview dates. The few sites that had their dates listed all overlapped, however! This makes it so hard to plan. Best of luck on getting your first choice dates!

For those of you who got an interview at Greystone hospital… I was wondering what your training looked like… you can pm me. I have two more psychiatric hospitals I was considering but I want to see if I am a strong enough candidate or not.

I am currently at a psych hospital and before I was at private practice and I have over two years of community mental health experience and a brief rotate with neuro

I'm sorry to hear that--I can't imagine how disappointing it is. I wonder if they are still waiting to get confirmations for applicants they extended an offer to? In case they want to send additional offers? I believe their deadline was yesterday so hopefully everyone hears back soon.

I did, initial email came at 1:30 PM, I responded by 1:34 PM (I’m obsessive about my email…), and then got a confirmation back that I was scheduled for a particular date/time by 1:55 pm. All on same email chain from DCT. It seems like you should’ve heard unless they’re still working through interview preferences?

Hmmm…I got my email later in the evening EST so I wonder if that might be it. Now I’m wondering if I should reach out?

I’m also EST, might be worth reaching out if you don’t hear by early next week, especially given that the interviews technically start the following week? They may still be sorting prefs if your email was later in the evening. It’s likely I was one of the first to submit a preference. Feels reasonable to reach out after a week IMO (but also what do I know!)
