Has anyone heard from Dartmouth-Hitchcock yet? I don't see any entries in the spreadsheet but on the APPIC directory their interview notification date is today.

Honestly, I think unless you get a rejection email then maybe keep the hope but prepare to be disappointed just in case. Sites vary and their processes are all different. You never know!
 
I saw some people got rejections (mass or?) and interview invites for the child clinical track at OUHSC... but did anyone get the "we won't interview but we will rank you" email from them? I haven't received anything so I'm feeling in major limbo and trying to prepare myself for bad news haha

Someone reported that they did get the "we won't interview you but will rank you" email from them earlier today
 
To those who got an email invite from MEDVAMC - congrats! Any update from them? Just trying to see if there’s still a chance I get an interview by getting off a potential waitlist, etc. Thanks!

We are playing some 3D chess version of telephone here, but someone on the Google doc say this question and responded there, cross-posting for the record: i applied to gero neuro and adult neuro and received an invitation to interview for the former. the email also said the following: "If you applied to other tracks, your application is still under review and I will let you know as soon as I hear from that track."

Fingers crossed!

Got it! That is helpful. Not really expecting to get an interview there but I’m remaining hopeful🙂

so my friend just heard from UCLA a day or two ago and I heard from charleston yesterday! Hope this helps!

Yea yale is so freaking confusing tbh... it doesnt sound like they release their invites all at once. It kind of looks to me like each track is doing its own thing with regard to interviews.

Larger sites with different tracks will often do their invites and ranking independently of other tracks or the program as a whole. In all of my jobs, we did our neuro ranks between the neuro faculty only.

I think thats a good plan. Honestly there are really great options in phase II as well. Don't be discouraged and trust the process. you will go exactly where you need to be!

Hi everyone!

I see on the spreadsheet that North Bronx Health Care Jacobi Medical Center went out yesterday but the info on the spreadsheet looks incomplete. I'm wondering if anyone would be able to confirm that these invitations did go out yesterday? Thank you and congrats if you got an invitation!

Also, if it is any consolation, I know people from last year who had like 9 interviews and didn't match and people who had 1-2 interviews and matched. So, the number of interviews doesn't always mean that you're more likely to match. All you need is one good interview and it is still early in the game to give up!

Very true. I know someone who had one interview and they matched to that site. You never know.just hoping for one interview.

From what I've gathered through excessive lurking... I think perhaps less likely to get an invite, the site may be sending invites on a rolling basis, or possibly retain an alternate/waitlist while they await responses to their invites. If you haven't heard anything back by early-mid December (perhaps on the 15th), it may be prudent to reach out.
 
Sorry to ask again. Just curious if anyone heard from Charleston today? I know they are doing rolling interview notifications but just curious

Le sigh. Wish I could just have a straight answer for closure. This process is stressful enough!

There were a couple people in my program last year that had multiple interviews and did not match. Based on my interactions with them, I would definitely point to interpersonal issues for one, and for the other it was because they thought they could "work" the match system.
