I have not. Primary submitted end of June. Honestly, I probably will not fill it out even if I get a secondary. Tired of waiting and would rather focus on other schoolsanyone else who still has not received a secondary? OOS btw

There's definitely some degree of favoritism but given the number of OOS IIs and secondaries given out so far, I wouldn't say its heavy. Matriculants are definitely skewed heavily toward CA residents but there are other factors at play there.Does anyone know if Pomona campus favors instate heavily?

considering that their pompona campus was 88% in state i would say that they favor in state heavily.Does anyone know if Pomona campus favors instate heavily?
same wondering this too :/Got a II but they have no interview dates, any ideas when they will put out any more dates?
Can I ask when you all submitted your primaries??
Not yet, so nervous ;(Hoping the 9/15 interview decisions get released this week, anybody heard yet?
Patiently (anxiously) waiting 😰Hoping the 9/15 interview decisions get released this week, anybody heard yet?
I submitted mine around the end of June, I think! Can I ask when you all submitted your primaries??
I feel similarly lol. Based on the numbers they gave the other day I'd estimate it to be between 40-60%. Most schools don't report official A% though.does anyone know the post II acceptance rate for western, i feel like i bombed the interview but aced the mmi :/
Competitive Class Stats | College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific (COMP) and COMP-Northwest I would refer to this website, and would safely assume maybe they accept double of the matriculated people (so about ~450). so maybe around 60%does anyone know the post II acceptance rate for western, i feel like i bombed the interview but aced the mmi :/
Can I ask when your secondary was completed? Got another email that my app is still w the committee on 9/19 but not sure what the turnaround time isGot a II but they have no interview dates, any ideas when they will put out any more dates?
7/27. II received 9/20Can I ask when your secondary was completed? Got another email that my app is still w the committee on 9/19 but not sure what the turnaround time is
same, although even if I get it at this point idk if I have it in me to write another one lolStill no secondary. IS
When they say 15 days, they probably meant 15 business days hmmI was so sure we'd be finding out this week! Kinda bummed that we haven't heard back.
I had the same problem. Not sure if the website is just tangled, or Pomona has no volunteer opportunities. Any current students to shed some light on this?Am I the only one having trouble finding info about community service opportunities at pomona campus because all the community service, volunteer opportunities I found on their website is only for the northwest campus for some reason..
For example this link has volunteer opportunities but is specific to northwest campus - there is no website page with volunteer opportunities for pomona campus Volunteer Opportunities | College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific (COMP) and COMP-Northwest
Thank you, yes! Hard to sift through, but they all show up as shared. Posting for others looking. If you go into their student clubs/orgs you can sort to find service organizations. You just have to sift because they have 100+ amongst the health professional schools.
Clubs: Searchable Listing of all Student Led Clubs
Find a listing of all student led clubs and organizations on the Pomona campus. Search by college or keyword.www.westernu.edu

Nobody has heard. Though admissions meets on tuesdays (I remember them saying that at interview day) so maybe today? Also emailed them yesterday about the release timeframe but haven’t heard backHas anyone from the 9/15 interview group heard anything? I feel like they were so transparent about their 2 week timeline so I’m a little worried I missed something?🙁
I thought they said 15 business days, so wouldn't that be by this thurs/friday? depending on if you count the mmi dayNobody has heard. I had written down that the admissions board would meet Thursday/Friday of following week (9/22 and 9/23) and then they meet with the dean on Tuesday (9/27). But they did say sometimes this gets pushed based on the Dean's availability/schedule! So hopefully this week we hear, fingers crossed y'allI thought they said 15 business days, so wouldn't that be by this thurs/friday? depending on if you count the mmi day
interview was traditional, so nothing abnormal. the MMI was on the shorter end, 2 scenarios, 5 minutes eachHow was the interview/MMI for those of you?
Second this. Overall, I enjoyed the interview experience. The pre-interview videos are really informative. Attend the student ambassador night if you can. It was really helpful to hear perspectives and insight from second year students.interview was traditional, so nothing abnormal. the MMI was on the shorter end, 2 scenarios, 5 minutes each
+1. The videos were really good. And definitely attend the student social - was fun, calmed me down, and helped set the chill vibes as I headed into the interview. The traditional interview I felt was standard, though I wasn't able to get too conversational because they had to ask specific/certain questions for their assessment.Second this. I didn’t get an II yet, and I don’t know if I’ll ever receive one. However, remember that SDN is just a small cohort of people… it’s still very early for the osteopathic cycle. Your time will come for sure… the wait is sooooo annoying but trust the processany new II? I was considered complete 8/9 and haven't heard back. wondering if my application is toast now.
Checked my portal just now! Got the A!!!
GOT THE A AS WELL LETS GO
