I haven’t heard of anyone who’s been accepted from the 8/26 interview date. Tomorrow must be the day!
They specifically told us at the 8/24 interview date that all interviewees would receive a decision on 9/20, so my guess is everyone from the first few dates will be notified tomorrow.

Fingers crossed for us. I thought they said we’d be told 16-20th so I’ve been checking my phone all week. Tomorrow we’ll know!

My interview is in about a week. Anyone who has interviewed here already - do you have any tips? How you prepared for MMI? How you prepared for the questions in general?

just double checking did they say they will get back to us on 10/25 for those interviewed on 9/27?

The MMIs arent something to be totally stressed about and there is really no true way to prepare. Just know that you will be acting. like literally acting as a different person. You will read a script that has an objective and you have to act it out with an interviewer. They will also be acting the entire time. The real goal is to test your communication skills.

So if we haven't heard anything does that mean we are rejected?
No, youre not rejected until you get the email. Don't lose hope! We're at the peak of interview season so they're certainly busy. Hold in there 🙂

OUS A!!! Interviewed 9/27!
For reference, submitted aacomas on 7/2 (verified 7/3), got II invite on 7/10 and submitted on 7/19. also received COMP Pomona II and returned on same date, and no updates on interview there.

if you get an interview at the CA campus, does that mean they won't send you one for OR? is there any sort of correlation?

Does anyone remember or happen to know how often the lectures are streamed from the Pomona campus? I think the lady in my interview said 60/40, but I'm not sure!

Just withdrew my app - I had an interview scheduled for 11/22 but am deciding to attend elsewhere. I hope one of you guys can snag that interview spot if it opens up

Roughly half. Any lecture that is done in Pomona is streamed to the campus and any lecture done at NW is streamed to Pomona- it's intended to make the education equal for both campuses. I thought this was going to be weird but apparently it's really easy to ask questions and interact with the lecturer if the lecture is being streamed from Pomona. There is a microphone that allows students at NW to ask the lecturer in Pomona.

Lectures are also not required unless specifically stated. Lectures are either Async or can be watched virtually- it's uncommon for the lecture hall to be filled.

Hope this helps! I plan on attending here and these are things students told me 🙂

hey everyone! quick question, does anyone know what the grading is at COMP-NW? I've been seeing conflicting information, is it H/HP/P/F , H/P/F, A/B/C/D or something different? Also if it is P/F, do they have internal/quartile rankings?

H/HP/P/F

There’s ranking based on the student catalog/policy document for the osteopathic medicine program

Is anyone going to the admitted students day event? Or know what the schedule might look like?

What does that mean ranking wise? How does this translate to how competitive things feel amongst the class?

Do residency programs ask about and care about class rank when other schools may not even have that metric?

Students are ranked based on pre-clinical years performance as well as third year and fourth year evaluations from clinical rotations. They’re calculated cumulatively for an individuals overall class rank.

From talking with current students there is an incredibly collaborative environment, and this system doesn’t necessarily breed toxic competition.

From what I recall the class rank is either on your transcript and/or mentioned in the Deans letter, which some residency programs require.
