They ask you to return your secondary within 2 weeks!
1. Please describe your anticipated educational, employment, volunteer, or other activities between completing your AMCAS application and matriculating to medical school. (1500 characters)

2. Tell us about something that makes you a unique applicant to CMSRU. How will CMSRU help you fulfill your mission? (1500 characters)

3. Medical school involves hard work and can be stressful at times. Tell us about activities that you use to help maintain a work-life balance and respond to stress. (1500 characters)

4. Please share with us something unique about your pathway to medical school, including any obstacles you may have faced. (1500 characters)

Good luck to all applying!

Thank you @BiomedEGR777 and @soldier boy

Does the secondary invitation include urging you to turn it in within 2 weeks? (Last year it did)

for prompt #2 im kinda treating it like a “what are your interests + why us” and then for #4 i see it as an adversity essay. or is either one more of a diversity? super ~unique~ phrasing on their part

I'm guessing 4 could be diversity or adversity depending on how unique your diversity path is.

How heavy is their screening process? 499 MCAT, 3.7 GPA, 3.6 BCMP, strong ties to NJ/former resident. Verified before 6/28 and still crickets. Not sure if they ghost or will send R
A lot of schools have minimum MCAT of 500. I can't seem to find any minimums for Cooper except for their Early Decision program with a minimum of 507.

Yeah I avoided applying to any schools w that stated minimum so I was hoping not to get ghosted

Submitted my secondary to realize a minute later that I wrote about learning in Newark NJ instead of Camden! How cooked am I?

Not the best look especially since NJMS is in Newark it’ll look like you copy pasted one of their essays if I had to guess

Yeah pretty cooked since like mentioned above about NJMS… they’re also like on opposite sides of the state so pretty obvious mistake

ask if they can reopen it and say u wanna add to one of their questions to further emphasize how u align with their mission and values\. couldn't hurt

Appreciate the hopeful suggestion, I already sent an update letter with a short explanation of the error and apology. It was in a passage about being able to do service learning in a local underserved urban population so the spirit of it is clearly for cooper/camden and it was just a typo, hopefully that comes through.

Still haven’t received a secondary yet. My stats pass the screening. Anyone else in the same situation?

What days are the interviews usually given i.e like what day of the week are the interviews?

Would it be too late to apply here? Thinking of adding it on now that I’m almost all my secondaries are submitted. I have strong ties to NJ but OOS. 510 MCAT/ 3.48cGPA

i got an interview last week 8/14/24 and complete on 7/23 so they’re not going in order idts.

+1 II In-state Today! LM 76. Complete date 7/29. Never did a PreView Exam LMAO

Has anyone interviewed yet? Is it an open file or a closed file traditional interview? I have the interview on Friday so was wondering how to prep!

one 30 min interview with two people at the same time, one is blind to your file one is not.

I'm wondering if a lot of people have gotten II for Rowan ,and if you are in state or out of state? if so, if you don't mind sharing your stats, would really appreciate. Waiting and hoping for an II from them! (out of state)
