I never got a secondary 🙁 Can I email them (what would I even say) or do I just accept the L? Its a shame because I am from like 10 minutes up the road, have been seeing cooper physicians my whole life, and feel really aligned with the school’s mission.

my understanding is that the holistically screen before offering secondary (so just just a stats cutoff) so you may have just not made it through that round. It probably wouldn’t hurt to reach out and ask though.

If you interviewed early enough, I believe they said to expect a phone call on the 15th no ? My interview was mid Sept. and they said technically could give the decision earlier due to their quick turnaround time but can’t until the 15th due to the traffic rules !

So if you interview say in Nov, will they respond quicker afterwards or do they have something similar to Oct 15 turn on dates for the later interviews?

on the website it says generally within a week of interview so really quick turnaround !!

They typically screen before sending out their secondary so it is unfortunate but you were probably screened out pre secondary

Mcat is one point below the median here and my gpa is a little lower but strong upward trend. Feeling a little down about not having gotten a ii at this point. Would you all say it’s probably not worth holding onto hope at this point?

I received my interview late Nov and scheduled for early January. So they are probably still waiting to issue II's for late January and onwards.
So maybe dont give up hope, but possibly send a LOI, considering your passion for the school
