OOS II on 9/25, submitted on 8/6. GPA 3.85 MCAT 515.

I never got a secondary 🙁 Can I email them (what would I even say) or do I just accept the L? Its a shame because I am from like 10 minutes up the road, have been seeing cooper physicians my whole life, and feel really aligned with the school’s mission.

my understanding is that the holistically screen before offering secondary (so just just a stats cutoff) so you may have just not made it through that round. It probably wouldn’t hurt to reach out and ask though.

If you interviewed early enough, I believe they said to expect a phone call on the 15th no ? My interview was mid Sept. and they said technically could give the decision earlier due to their quick turnaround time but can’t until the 15th due to the traffic rules !

So if you interview say in Nov, will they respond quicker afterwards or do they have something similar to Oct 15 turn on dates for the later interviews?

Waitlist email rn. Definitely felt like there was some mismatch between school mission and my app tho, seems like the school is focused on primary care so not terribly upset.

IS post II waitlist today, interview on 11/1
i thought i was a mission fit but i didnt vibe with the interviewers so i guess thats screwed me over 😢

OOS post II waitlist today same! Interviewed on 11/1 too.
I thought my application and drive to go into medicine really fit with the schools mission too and I feel like my interview went well but i guess not? Rooting for you to get of the WL tho!

Got a IS waitlist as well today. Sad but it what it is. Let hope we get off the waitlist. I hope it true a good chunk of students get off
 
Just wondering, is there like different types of waitlist at Cooper? Like high Priority vs "regular" Waitlist
 
I'm wondering if anyone who interviewed in late October has received their decision yet?

Hey guys sorry if this question gets redundant but I have not received a secondary from cooper yet since I submitted my primary. Secondary deadline is almost coming so I'm wondering if I should say something or wait it out.

My LM is high 60s if that helps answering the question

They typically screen before sending out their secondary so it is unfortunate but you were probably screened out pre secondary
 
Hi! I’m an IS applicant, strong mission fit with my ECs focusing on community service and the local community to cooper. Mcat is one point below the median here and my gpa is a little lower but strong upward trend. Feeling a little down about not having gotten a ii at this point. Would you all say it’s probably not worth holding onto hope at this point?

I received my interview late Nov and scheduled for early January. So they are probably still waiting to issue II's for late January and onwards.
So maybe dont give up hope, but possibly send a LOI, considering your passion for the school
