If the noobs can lynch their seer then surely the veterans and a couple noobs are allowed to lynch their tracker. It seems only fair.

Later in the morning Amy and Jason rejoined Sarah and Leonard at the library. They had already been there since dawn, when it opened.
As they approached, Leonard, without even turning his head to look at them, called out in a rather monotonous tone, "You will never believe what we figured out, while you've been gone."
"What?" Jason asked,
"Do you know what an amplifier is?"
"For guitars? It makes them sound good. And loud."
Leonard's expression was still, not even an eyeroll crept across his face.
"An amplifier increases the power of a signal; the amplitude of an item; it's oscillation."
"That's great. Thanks for that."
Sarah at this point chimed in, "Jason! It's what we need! There is a high-power amplifier... this thing has over eight-thousand watts, that's unheard of, like, not even in our time... that I tracked down at a pawn shop in Stanwood. It's not very close to here, there are no buses that go there, and we have no money. I don't even know how much it is going to cost, but I guarantee this will be essential to building our time machine."
"Wow, really? Do you have the rest of the blueprints worked out-if we were able to get this, could we get back?"
"I don't know. I'm not quite there yet. But, we need this, that I'm absolutely sure of."
Amy interjected, "That sounds great and all but how are we going to get it?"
Sarah answered, "Well, one of us is going to have to get a ride. Frankly, it can't be Leonard or me. We have so much work to here, and frankly I think it's obvious to anyone that we haven't, exactly "showered" recently... you guys on the other hand, are clean, charismatic, and much more likely to haggle for this bad-boy." She slid back on her roller-chair to unveil an image on the computer of what looked like a standard car amplifier.
"Tony's Toys in Stanwood..." Jason read. "Amy, we could go together, but I'm not sure how we'd raise the funds for this. I'm just wondering if one of us should find a one-off job, like lawn work, and wire it up there?"
"You don't want to come with me?" Amy said, clearly a bit hurt.
"No, it's not that. But if we both go up there, it'll only take longer. I could leave, right now, and start going door to door with lawn services."
"Okay, you go do that. I guess I'll go be not-helpful, not raising money, and not-driving because I don't have a vehicle or any sort of clue how to get up there."
Amy stormed off leaving the other three behind.

After a brisk walk, she was back at Rick's apartment building. She buzzed up to him.
Upstairs, he opened the door to let her in, and she pushed through in a big puff of rage.
"Are you okay?" Rick asked, concerned.
"I'm fine." Amy sighed.
"You know... you can tell me... Problems don't go away if you don't talk about them..."
"Okay," She inhaled, "We found out today that something we need to get before we can go home is located an hour away from here. It's... uh, something that used to belong to Sarah and is extremely important to her. It sounds like it could be at a pawn shop up north, but we don't have a good way of getting up there."
Rick looked at her in silence for a bit. There was a bit of distrust in his eyes and expression. Despite this, he responded
"Well, hey! That's okay. You know, I have a car. Maybe I can help you."
"Oh, Rick, I wouldn't ask you to get more wrapped up in our problems. Like, letting us stay here? That's incredible as is."
"Honestly, Amy. I like you guys. I don't want to see my friends suffering and I would be a liar if I claimed we weren't friends. Helping you out with a small errand is no big deal, and I don't need to be at work for a few more hours. We could go now."
She smiled and reached her arms around his neck for a hug, then gave him a peck on the cheek as she pulled away.
"Thank you."

His van was parked in a small lot just outside the building.
He walked over to the passenger side door to manually unlock it, and then held it open for Amy. "That's not necessary!" She teased. He responded with a meek chuckle as he walked around to the driver's side, unlocked it, and got in.
After buckling up, Rick engaged his keys and tried turning them, only to be met with silence. "Oh, snap." He tried again, to no avail.
"Crap. Okay, we aren't going anywhere after all. I think my battery is dead."
Dead is
