really glad DOs continue to match into Psych, it’s a wonderful field and has become very competitive in the past few years as more US MDs apply, realizing it’s a great lifestyle specialty with amazing pay. To think that there were only about 10 spots unfilled, likely a new program, and other hot specialities like PM&R and anesthesia had zero spots (which DOs also historically have matched well into and continue to) proves that DOs are great applicants, highly sought after, and future trail-blazers in medicine (as they always have been) 🙂
