ADEA Background Check via Application Station

Hey guys,

So I was accepted to Creighton and I received an email about providing consent for a background check through the website applicationstation.com

I am currently creating an account and am attempting to plug in my AADSAS number. My number is only 10 digits, but the site is saying that it needs to be 11 digits. Not too sure what to do.

Let me know if anyone has any idea.

Btw, are we supposed to pay for these background checks out of pocket? Do the schools not foot the bill? It seems very expensive.

That's what I was thinking. Plus some of the schools I interviewed at who I haven't heard back from don't use this website... Might wait to submit the payment until the end of the month in hopes of hearing back from other schools.

I got accepted to 2 schools who use the same system. Will they send my background check to all of them? I didn't accept the offer from either of them yet.
