All advice would be appreciated! Planning on applying to 30 schools and sending in secondaries soon. Aiming to shoot as high as possible.
Demographics: African American Male
Cumulative GPA: 3.94
Science GPA: 3.9
MCAT: 513 (129/125/131/128)
Research: 1800 hrs in my university lab (2 poster presentations, 1 publication - not first/second author), 500 hrs in summer research program at T15 medical school, awarded Amgen Scholar summer research program at T10 medical school (canceled due to covid-19 pandemic)
Volunteering: 1250 hrs non-clinical, 350 hrs clinical
Shadowing: 200 hrs in 5 specialties
Extracurricular activities: Founder/President of two student organizations, environmental advocacy, fundraising for free-access clinic in third world country
A lot of my volunteering is aiding the lower socioeconomic population.
