i know of FIVE people in my class who matched there (its my home institution)... everyone there says its great, so im sure youll have a good time.

It was the overwhelmingly good personalities of the EM residents at UIC that 1st convinced me to go into EM. So I predict that you are going to have a great time in residency, in addition to getting training that I've heard multiple attendings call "second to none". Congratulations!
I ended up matching at Christ, but UIC peeps rotate through Christ for Trauma & Ortho, so we may very well end up working together. I love Chicago & know it well, and I'm graduating from UIC, so I also know it well. Send me a PM with any questions you think I might be able to answer (I can probably speak most intelligently on cheap eats, BYOB places, and Chicago's music scene, but I'll answer whatever I can about UIC as well).
