Hi all,
I am in the midst of putting my packet together for the HPSP. I will be starting at VMCVM August 19th, and I am really really really hoping I am successful in getting this scholarship. I figured we could use a thread to ask questions/updates. I currently still need to schedule MEPS, my online app is complete, and my CV/SoM is done. Not sure how competitive I am but I have a bachelors and a masters (Graduated summa cum laude with my masters), 10+ years of veterinary experience as a technician, letters are being written by a veterinarian (civilian), a former USAF Flight Nurse (honorable discharge at Major), Former USAF officer, and *hopefully* another civilian vet and a former professor of mine. I come from a military family, my grandfather served in WWII, Korea, and Vietnam, my dad was 375th Ranger, mom was a Navy brat who sadly was in a car accident that prevented her from enlisting.
Good luck to all! Any HPSP recipients please feel free to comment on any advice! I'm sure we would all appreciate it.
