Do the links on Auburns veterinary prospective student page not work for anyone else? I can't see estimated costs, application process, or anything
 
it just takes a really long time to load for me and the formatting is weird when it does load.
 
Anyone know how the interview goes? What kind of questions are asked? I'm OOS first time applicant. thanks!

I am an IS applicant and know many people who have gone through the interview process. In the past, the interview has been relatively laid back. It is more of a traditional format, so I would expect questions such as “Tell me about yourself,” “Why do you want to be a veterinarian?” and other common interview questions. Additionally, I would expect some questions on how you would handle situations or even tell about a time you faced certain circumstances. Overall, they want to get to know you and how you think on your feet. I hope this helps. Good luck!!

Is it a panel or 1 on 1 for the interview? Mine is tomorrow and I’m freaking out a bit haha.

The website says that we should hear within twelve days of interviews!
 
my interview didn’t go great so kinda expecting the worse but good luck to everyone else!
 
At one of the current-student panels on Monday a girl said she left the interview genuinely saying to herself “that’s exactly how you don’t get in to vet school” and she got in so certainly don’t count yourself out!

How did you feel about your interview? Any advice on how to prepare for the type of questions or interview style? Thank you!
 
How have results been posted in the past? Does everyone, admitted amd deined get emails on the same day? At the same time? Are phone calls and emails done?

If you are offered a seat in the class then you will get a phone call. I think in the past they said it is by alphabetical order. After all phone calls are made they send out emails to everyone with final decisions. Everyone finds out on the same day and usually within an hour or two of the first phone call.
 
I saw someone say on Facebook that we should hear on the 31st. Has anyone else heard this/when should we expect to hear?

I also saw that somewhere. But that seems so fast considering the last day of interviews is today.
 
Got email as well about financial aid. Anyone called to see about expected date of results? Since the rumor has gone around about the 31st and the 7th? Waiting for one day is bad enough… two would be awful.

When I interviewed I asked my panel and was told February 7th. Since interviews just finished up on Thursday or Friday, I highly doubt we'll hear back this week. I think everyone who interviewed got the financial aid email, since they said in their email at the beginning of January that the zoom meetings would be recorded. What I'm guessing happened is that enough people asked for them that they thought it would be easier to just send to everyone.

My first cycle and I was able to get an interview, but I'm a contract seat applicant so that definitely helps!
