If you're a villager, then yes, we'd lose numbers, which would put the wolves closer to a win. But if we keep you around, and you don't participate, then there will be suspicion about whether you're a villager if you're not active and contributing. That, to me, is worse than just quitting the game because it diverts focus from finding wolves. All of this assumes you're a villager instead of a wolf though.

I think your comments make more sense though if you're a wolf. I need to go back and read more of your posts, but I might be changing my vote.

On one hand, on D1 she did join in on the STL bandwagon, but did so before it was a done deal (prior to STL revealing).

I think that's what bothered me about her posts (can't even remember my own analysis...). Very bland, and her response to my suspicions was pretty much a shrug.

If she is skirting the modkill line that would make me less inclined to think she's a wolf but I don't know if she is or not.

That's a good catch. Very confusing. His initial post made sense, but his explanation today makes that post nonsensical - if he was looking at 1dog's posts because of the PM comments then why did he say his conclusions were in regard to AB in his post today?

I mean, I know it was 4am but if you're isolating posts it's not like their usernames are similar.
I think I've wolfed with teep before and then also modded when he was a wolf so I'm trying to think if this is a move he would make to try to make his lynch vote look better. At the moment it makes little sense to me for him to draw any attention to it, but again, wolves are paranoid about everything they do seeming wolfy, so sometimes they overcompensate.

Just got off work and was sad because I thought I missed lynch. Glad I didn't!

I am still re-reading, but I have to say I am less suspicious of BBC now because she appeared to not know FB was dead...although I have to say that would be a very clever wolf move. Still not totally ruling her out, but she is lower on my list of suspicions now.

Based on previous posts of what she would or would not say as a wolf... to me, that is all irrelevant
And her later lynch of AB seemed..... off... to me...

I could be wrong, but this is what I am going with for now.
Will read back through teep's and rocky's posts in a bit too since those seem to be other suspicions that people have currently.

I think this is a really good point. I definitely don't think it's 100% by any means, but this is something to keep in mind. Out of the people who voted for 1dog, teep seems most suspicious to me. I see that multiple other people have already brought this up, but teep's lynch vote for 1dog was super weird because he basically justified it with reasons pertaining to AB, not 1dog. I'm not sure what to think about it yet.
 
Ok, I thought that the day ended. I deleted my post addressing Zen. I'll have to try and piece my thoughts back together.

I don't think it was a suicide, I don't think Deva would have done that. Pretty sure it was an assassin kill. I think quite a few of us were wrong about what all would be included in a basics game

Can you elaborate on this? I would think it would be odd to have an assassin that could kill during the day, but maybe not. Is this something that was present in other games? I agree that I don't think deva would've killed herself, though.

Yeah. Deva posted while I was typing. Definitely didn't kill herself.
 
I'm still not convinced on 1dog, but as far as discussion goes, I think things were pretty thoroughly covered yesterday.

While catching up both BBC and Teep stood out to me.

BBC's early comments regarding noob wolves seemed like a thinly veiled effort to push lynch away from other noob players like herself. Not knowing that FB was dead even though she was one of the first people to post after night closed seems very strange.

I don't get Teep's weird lynch apology. It's the first time he has really stood out for me this game, though I know others have expressed concerns.
 
I believe it was Zen that had posted something earlier from an older basics type game that dy had run. As far as roles go we might want to expand it to those ones. I believe villager assassin was on that list.

I don't think all of those roles are included in here. Post restrictor was in dyachei's WW anesthesia game, but I've seen no evidence of it here.

Hard to tell what each role was since thematic role names were released on death instead of action. Here's what I got from skimming. Player name and role names are set, role actions are my best guess.

FS -> student with propofol -> villager blocker
LIS -> student with ultrasound -> villager seer?
Conflagration -> student with euthasol -> villager assassin
Me -> student with glycopyrrolate -> 1x resurrector
STL -> student with isoflurane -> force post restrictions?
Rojo -> student with warming blanket -> protector

Wolves had 2 conversions and 4 full wolves. I don't know which among them had special powers.
TP -> pulmonary thromboembolism
OG -> ventricular fibrillation
Cyndia -> drug overdose
Orca -> aortic dissection
Krist -> vet student converted to gunner
FFM -> student with carrell all-in-one (no idea what he did originally) converted to teaching assistant

Yeah, I would agree with that one. I also think that a rezzer seems unlikely at this point too, though couldn't totally be ruled out.

Village blocker would be interesting. If we think that FB's failure to protect WTF was due to a wolf blocker, I guess I could see a villager counterpart existing.

Agreed, there have been no obvious post restrictions and no obvious "people who have been silenced" (sorry in quotes because I couldn't think of a 1 word name for that.) Nobody has said that they have been blocked so I'm assuming no blockers. No items called out. No obvious PMing between anybody so nobody seems to be able to do that. No injuries. No healing.

At this point this list is getting a bit silly, but the only evidence I have seen of any role has been when they get dead and their role is announced.

I'm in sort of the same boat as Deva with the fact that I really did think this game being slower would work with my schedule. I also feel guilty for my bland participation. I should've just started my hiatus and not been tempted! You won't find a wolf lynching me but if you want me out of the way, that's cool too of course. If not, I'll figure out a way to keep chiming. If I do die, I can say I learned quite a lot from this game that I can use in the future!
 
I guess I take that back. If Deva wasn't a mod kill, than I have officially seen my first evidence of a role beyond what is listed in the write ups.

I guess if PMs are only open for wolves at night, than maybe villagers can only submit actions in the day?
