I was trying to encourage discussion. No one seemed interested. So I tried again and listed who I was concerned about and it started a conversation, but not the one I intended. It was a damned if I do damned if I don't situation. If I changed my vote and LIS was a wolf, that would have been considered suspicious. If I didn't change my vote and he was a villager than that looked suspicious. No one else (just one person I think) changed their vote and no one was talking. So I decided my best bet was to keep my vote where it was in case he really was a wolf.

Also, sometimes I think you guys think I'm really stupid. I have been wrong about all three wolves so far. I didn't like the STL lynch d1, I ignored AB to the point that I didn't see the peculiar behavior many (well ok, just 6) of you saw, and my compassion for someone suffering migraines and having personal issues made me doubt her as a wolf too. Going off that, maybe I should vote to lynch zen since I've repeatedly said I thought she was a villager too.

I'm still feeling Rojo. I honestly have been since the beginning of the game when STL mentioned him in his wolf brag. It reminded me of the Pokemon game where Rojo told STL he had to throw a lynch vote his way early in the game because if he didn't it would look suspicious. Later when STL was being lynched for real, STL mentioned me in very much the same way as him mentioned Rojo this game. (He didn't need to mention Rojo since I think he had already outed himself at that point)

And my tiered post wasn't really a ranking of vet status so much as a ranking of "type of wolf worry" status. I can see how it could be read the other way though.

And a newer wolf could very well be pulling those same strings. Nobody here has never played a game before, and maybe one or two people haven't been a wolf. Besides that, we can't assume anything about how much kaydubs was involved in wolf chat, even if she wasn't posting on the thread.

One way or the other I think it's more useful to focus on individuals and what evidence/logic you can come up with against them rather than arbitrary categories.

Anyway, My list currently looks like this...wolfiest to villageriest.

I'm going with lynch jilary for now. If anyone has some analysis that makes a good case for her being a villager I'm good with that, just don't have much myself.

If I recall correctly, rojo didn't vote for STL day 1 in the Pokemon game though. And he certainly didn't put heat on him like he did in this game.

I think I voted for STL d1 that game. Which day it was doesn't matter, it was early in the game. And like I think you pointed out Rojo was third to vote for STL d1 this game, so that vote doesn't mean a whole lot to me (meaning he didn't start the lynch like he has claimed).

Are you kidding me. I was second, behind a random vote, and I actually spelled out his wolfiness, refuted his first defense attempt and kept the heat on until he revealed as seer, and we know the rest. Even when people were asking if we were voting for him for sounding roley, I refuted and kept the heat on. It does nothing for my potential convert status, but it's been pretty well beat into people the stl pelt belongs on my wall...

The other game I was glib and said I had to because it's what I do.
 
I guess I will stick with my rojo villager sense based on y'all's analysis. Still I could believe rojo and STL worked it out, but it is less likely with no day pm-ing.

Impossible for them to have worked anything out for day 1 unless they were magically allowed to PM that day. Or maybe they have a secret code already in place! 😱

I'm thinking of maybe going through some of her posts in Pokemon I guess. Idk waht else to do but go back and forth over what I've already read 3 times in this game.

Problem is I'm pretty sure most of the super inactives are villagers. We already had kaydubs in that category, I don't know that another wolf would be risking it, but maybe. It would just be surprising to me if there wasn't a wolf or two in the vocal population.

I'm not totally sure the dead quiet folk are guaranteed villagers... I'll have to go through the roster again. I can't remember who all is still alive. (Whoever posted the list up top thanks! It is helpful!)

As much as Jil's defensiveness kept me from lynching her yesterday, I can't say I am as convinced today. Even if she is a villager, this constant debate is distracting us (or at least me) from finding other wolves. There are just so many posts on the thread regarding lynching her and her defending herself.

We did that over the weekend with lis and it failed us. We got lucky kaydubs took herself out of the game. I don't think I'm ready just yet to do that again without some debate and merit, and I'm not convinced

Ehhh I would be careful with that particular argument...since we just used it with LIS and that didn't go so well

Eh, I also chose to believe LIS and unlynched him. My vote for him was less attitude/tone of posts and moreso me perceiving him to make distractions. In Jil's case I am lynching based on the tone I have gotten.

Anyway, that doesn't change my point about having them still in the game being a distraction. LIS was a constant (at least recently) debate, LIS is now gone so we do not need to worry about his potential wolfiness anymore.
 
Hm..... Need some input: Do we think Kay voted for at least 1 wolf in lynch during the game?

By going (quickly, I need to do a more thorough read) through her lynch votes and who she was suspicious of, she voted for a lot of now dead confirmed villagers.
Guis (dead - villager)
Deva (dead - villager)
Rocky (dead - villager)
LoTF (???)
Me (while....I know I'm a villager but that's just me)

If wolves generally vote for at least one of their own in a game I would be open to switching my vote to LoTF

LIS-sorta (villager)

I know we have all established that looking at voting records won't guarantee us a wolf, but throughout the game people have mentioned that a typical wolf trick is to throw another one under the bus. There are only 2 unknowns left in who she voted to lynch. Out of the people she defended we only know 1 affiliation. I honestly think there might be something there

I'm not being sensitive over one vote. I'm being defensive about being brought up as a serious lynch target three day cycles in a row. I'm defensive about being accused of not participating during our long weekend day cycle when I posted a crap ton and I'm defensive that I was accused of not trying hard enough to change the vote on LIS when I started to have doubts. Having doubts doesn't mean you've completely changed your mind. I was really torn on what to do and I tried twice to get people talking about it but that didn't happen. So yeah, I gave up on instigating talk yesterday but I also had more important IRL things I needed to deal with too.

By all means, please do. I think you'll find I avoided even softly defending other wolves. I know it has on occasion worked for wolves to vouch for one another, but considering I've only been a wolf once, I don't think I'm on that level of wolfing. I haven't voted for any of our three wolves and I feel really dumb for that and I've also explained why.

I think this is a terrible reason to lynch someone especially when that person is a villager.

Have you played a game with me where I've been lynched as a villager? This is exactly how I act. It's aggravating as hell trying to defend yourself especially when it feels like many of the people just aren't paying attention to what I'm saying.
 
I'm not really feeling the Jil lynch. Yeah, she's come up multiple times on multiple days, that to me seems to indicate that no one feels too strongly about it or has any particularly off posts to point to.

I find it interesting that BBC finds it distracting, but then starts a whole new cycle of Jil discussion.

I was willing to talk, but you were gone by that point... but maybe I was the 1 person you were referring to in the earlier post.
 
If people who aren't feeling the Jil lynch would give some alternatives that would be appreciated...we do only have 3 total votes right now.

I could do a BBC lynch, I think the only thing I had for her was that she was another quiet one so I just wasn't sure about a wolf being in that position (and I was still looking for a more vocal wolf).

I've said Teep and given my reasons a couple of times, no one seemed to pick up on it, might have gotten lost amongst some more vocal players.

I feel less strongly about thisbut I could also go BBC because she seems to have been pushing discussion away from her a lot throughout the game.

I guess I'm just less inclined to concern myself with teep when he was warned about posting at the end of yesterday's lynch and he hasn't shown up today. I imagine a wolf would post at least once in the last 48 hours, but he hasn't posted since 6am on Monday.

I wouldn't say the last lynch cycle is particularity indicative of anything though. The thread was pretty dead yesterday, no one posted all that much, and this morning it would have been closed during his peak posting time.

Maybe, but he hasn't posted at all today, and in previous days he had by this time. I'm just saying that would be way risky territory for a wolf to be in for this particular game, especially with 3 wolves already gone.
 
I dunno, meh might actually be a valid comment there. I'd hate to waste another lynch on someone who is likely get mod killed (like was done with the Rocky lynch). I guess we'll see if Teep shows up tomorrow morning. There's more time than I thought, just realized that lynch ends st 10 PM tomorrow not AM.
