How can you think that someone who was one of the deciding votes to lynch a wolf is a wolf., That is giving way too much credit to a noob iMO.

I am ok with a rocky lynch as well. Saying nothing is a wolf tactic as well as a bad villager, but combined with not voting yesterday??? I am ok with that.

Gotta address this because I do believe you guys are going overboard in discounting stuff. Dyachei explained this is not going to have a lot of roles or a lot of pm-ing....she didn't say it was going to be completely devoid of stuff. Conversions are pretty basic. Multiple seers are out. An assassin, why not? But wolves that are near impossible to kil...out. Probably neutral or chaos out.

I think less speculation on what might be excluded, and more analysis of what we have evidence of.
 
I'm kinda stuck. Just looked over BSC and Genny's posts, and saw nothing odd about their comments or voting.

I still have my mild feels for LIS. I originally had feels for LoTF that were somewhat appeased. Rocky's posts were just so plain that I guess it could be suspicious, but I'm not convinced. Haven't looked into Teep or Jilary posts yet, but I'm going to work now so I'll do it after.

Just to have a vote in (in case of plurality when I'm gone) I'll say lynch Jilary

Now we know Deva was a villager. The other voters for #2 were me, Teep, and BSC. I've voted for Teep before, I could probably be convinced to do it again.

Let's say you have two wolves up for lynch: AB and 1dog. As a wolf, who do you pick?
My most off-the-wall theory right now is that DVMD and 1dog are both wolves, and all of our lynch candidates today are villagers. DVMD helped switch that first vote from STL to hayley. WW really messes with my head sometimes.

I made my post on mobile and didn't see the replies/questions until after the post went through. I was worried mine might be considered strategy at that point and that I'd have to edit (a little late now but let me know if it does), but then my phone died.

Even if this vote wasn't for me, it would give me feels. Hey, I don't know why some people are voting for her, but I'm going to make it a tie just in case I can't get back. That's not good WW thinking IMHO.

I'm good with 48hr day cycles for the weekend. Maybe that will help get us back on a schedule where 24 of the 36 hours of day are actually during the day making it easier to meet the post minimum. With 24 of the 36 being at night, I'm having a hard time keeping up when I need to sleep at night and work long hours during the day.

This was the lynch tally immediately prior to my unlynching STL and lynching hayley.... could you please explain how I was "helping" to switch the vote to hayley, because I don't get it...

Like you, I have tried to repeatedly analyzed that first day lynch tally to attempt to find someone who sticks out as wolfy through that day and the conclusion that I have come to is that many of us were just confused and simply fell for what STL stated. It happens. LIS, WTF , rojo.... three people I consider good, strong players also fell for STL's ploy. Yes, rojo was vocal about lynching him at first, but also switched his vote with STL's reveal. Because of this, I have considered that day 1 lynch a wash for attempting to determine wolf vs. villagerness for players.

I know the speculatin' is not super helpful, but I am a bit at a loss of what else to do? I presume there's at least one (likely more) wolf(ves) based on numbers. I think there's a huge smattering of vanillagers but I'm trying to work out simple numbers in my head.
 
I'm wondering if there's at least the alpha wolf dancing around. That would be.... 3 wolves in a 28 (?) player game (memory fails, sorry, I have been running on cellular data and have a huge overage bill this month but I digress). There was a protector, seer and tracker. Presuming maybe an assassin too?

STL claimed village seer, and you were the first vote after that. Hayley only had one vote before STL's claim, from 1dog. I feel like after a claim like STL's, there's usually a big scramble to find someone else, and people might be open to suggestions. You happened to get yours in first, which could be completely innocent, sure.

Ugh, damn laptop hit post reply before I was done.... anyway...

I strongly don't think that day 1 helps.... I am going back through it again to be sure I feel the same way now. But that was my first and second thoughts. Considering that even our villager seer believed STL and strongly voiced against lynching him that first day, I really am just not finding anything that sticks out. Just my opinion.

I find it odd because you've played this game a lot, and you're basically advocating for us to ignore the one time that the wolves had to coordinate with each other on-thread, since they couldn't PM until night.
 
I get what WZ is saying about rocky, but I think that may be more of a Deva-type situation where rocky is just simply not as active as everyone else. None of her posts have given me explicit feels, but they do seem to be pretty basic and don't contain a whole lot of strategy. Still, I'm more inclined to look at others for the time being.

I also just can't quite past my feels for BBC. I thought earlier that her seemingly not knowing FB had died was pretty good cause to lower her on my list of suspicions, but now that I'm thinking about it, that was weird. The night results were posted at like 9:30-something, and BBC posted at like 10:05. So, it isn't like the results were posted at a time when BBC was typing (I don't even think this is possible with the thread being closed) and the posts were posted within minutes of each other...BBC clearly had time to read night results before posting. That doesn't mean she read the night results before she posted...but it's still strange.

I could also run with SOV's theory here. I completely agree that wolves will often attempt to vote for the person in 2nd place in order to take the heat off the person in first place if they are a wolf. Wolves might also vote for a wolf who is in first place, though, since it gives them a little cover. However, running with SOV's 2nd-place theory...I really don't think genny is a wolf because she was the one who basically exposed STL. I also don't think BSC is a wolf- I have no reason to think she is not a wolf, but I also have no reason to think she is, as she hasn't given me any feels. Deva was obviously not a wolf. Teep set off some alarm bells for me today, but hadn't really before now. I'm torn between BSC and teep right now.

I completely realize this is the players fault and I'm still bitter about it. It's also one of the reasons I'm still suspicious of LIS. BBC is coming in at a close second right now too. I understand the suspicions on rocky but I'm not sure I'm 100% ready to jump on that one yet. I could also go for an LoTF vote. Yeah, she said her catch phrase, but for me that does nothing for proving her as a villager if she says it, but rather puts a nail in her coffin if she doesn't. I also told her she was going to need to get over that. People lie in WW, even as villagers.

Yes, I am, because I don't think it reveals anything..... I have looked three times now. I think someone else earlier (WZ?) also came to a similar conclusion... or maybe it was Zen... I can't recall but someone else did. I get that it seems "odd" but that is my opinion after having combed through that first lynch 3 separate times now.



Ok, I get your point about everyone having to unlynch STL and relynch.... my vote was the first vote because I was online at the time... IIRC it was 10PM my time when STL revealed that info... that means it was middle of the night for our east coast players and most people were in bed... the remaining lynching occurred early the next morning... while I was sleeping... :shrug:

Also, it isn't likely hayley was lynched in a giant bandwagon as your above posted final lynch tally shows... others were very close to being lynched, she just happened to beat out those other two by one vote, so given your theory you have to be suspicious of everyone who voted for the top three vote getters that day cycle, including yourself with your last vote on RM. If you are going to fairly analyze that first day vote.
 
Yeah, I just re-read again, and I think BBC is giving me more feels than teep. For the moment, I'm gonna stick with my vote from yesterday and

While I've only ever knowingly started a game as a wolf one time, d1 most of us threw out a vote for another wolf. If that is a common occurrence then rm/SOV or LotF are possible wolf candidates. Since LotF also fits in another suspicion catagory for me, that's where my vote is going for now.

Really not feeling the Rocky lynch. She just started vet school. Her posts seem kinda rushed and don't strike me as very strategic, I would guess she's pretty close to getting mod killed.

I can see where some of the Teep feels that have been mentioned a few times have come from. There seem to be a fair number of his posts that focus on things that already happened and how they might have happened. They're strategy posts I guess, but not really of the game advancing type. This might be where my vote ends up, still debating this.

You mean when 1dog's vote broke the tie for the lead between her and AB? I wouldn't call that a necessarily decisive villager move, looks more like self preservation to me.

I'm not sure I agree completely. Part of me wants to vote for rocky out of self preservation but I'm not 100% sold on her as a wolf right now. Yes it's possible, but in my eyes everyone in this game other than myself is possibly a wolf. I'd rather put my vote where I honestly believe we may find a wolf rather than voting for someone just to possibly save myself.

I guess I don't see how that would be a clearing move. Villager or wolf, that would strike me as being the right play in that situation. Especially as things were turning more to AB at that point.

You aren't in the lead, and there's time til the deadline. If you were leading and voting for rocky would break that tie, I'd be suspicious if you didn't break it. Context, it matters
