Ok, at least I think I had a reason for it. Can't find where I posted about it if I did, can't remember it, didn't include notes next to my list. I'm real good at this guys.

I do have some interesting thoughts based on my Jilary research in the Pokemon game. Coming soon!

In response to this...

So I tried to be as objective as possible but in particular I was looking for interactions with other wolves - defenses, votes for them, straight up bussing. It's obviously a little different from what we would see in this game, where our seer and tracker died early and the bandwagons haven't been as strong because we don't have info to go off of. What I found was...
1) That vote for STL on day 1 was a big time throwaway vote, one of the usual day 1 votes, and she resisted voting for other wolves during the course of the game except when there were huge (like 9+ votes) bandwagons on them, which were set in motion by strong info
2) She actually did soft defend rojo, a fellow wolf, when a bandwagon started on him. Questioned the bandwagon, threw suspicion at someone who was voting for him, bought up their innocuous PM conversations. STL went full bus, but jil hung back and said she had bad feels about the lynch multiple times. She did eventually switch her vote to him towards the end. This was just before it was revealed that his accidental post had been seen.
3) She did vote for Kam (another fellow wolf), but as I referenced above that was after the bandwagon was already in full motion and 2 other players had already brought info against her - everybody was voting for Kam at that point. She brought up her own seering results for some cred.
4) She did vote for Ash at some point on a day that a morning bandwagon on FFM was snuffed and the votes spread out all over the place, but I'm not sure if this was before or after Ash was autoconverted - needs more research?
5) Soft defended ketoone as well, pointed out her claimed (cover) role and that it would definitely be in the game in a couple different posts
6) Of course voted for STL on the day he was outted...everyone did

And then it was all villager votes until she was lynched herself. So...I'm not seeing this aspect of the defense she has given in this game as particularly indicative of villager play, based on her actions in the one game (I think) where she was a wolf.
 
I'm suddenly feeling BSC, but that's almost completely from the weird Jilary comments that she posted tonight.
 
1dog is pretty low on my list of suspicions. Reading back through her posts, the way she responded to the AB lynch seemed to me to be pretty non-wolfy behavior.
 
Has LoTF ever been a wolf? Anyone know what game? I'm curious how her posting style might be different (or not) this game, since she's spoken so much about her villager-tells.

5 wolves seems like a lot for this game. (Just thinking about the size of this game versus the one I just ran, and the comments about number of wolves) Why do you think we have 2 left? Are you factoring in possible convert?

I only ask because in my head I've been assuming that we have one left. We're on different brain-waves.

This is the type of post that raises flags for me in the later days of a game. It's a helpful, let's consolidate information-type post that seems inherently good-intentioned - as a wolf would mean it to.

Current suspicions without super evaluating the thread include Jilary, BSC, PBC, and SOV... honestly, I couldn't tell you the reasons that I had behind those right off, I'd have to read back through and I'm not digging through the thread right now. I'll *hopefully* get a full lunch tomorrow and I'll post more then, along with a lynch vote.

Just FYI, I think PBC was the first person to bring up suspicions about AB. Likely not a wolf IMO.

Ok, so I didn't remember ever defending a fellow wolf, but I guess I did. I also clearly voted for other wolves even if a throw away vote. I haven't voted for a known wolf even once this game. So apparently I just suck this game and I'm not a wolf.

I've quickly read the past few pages, will have to go through again. I didn't expect kaydubs to be a villager. I'm sticking to my guns, and I think she's still on LISs list of suspicions and will

Zen, WZ, and whoever else was waiting for a check in, is there really anything I can provide for y'all? I've been brought up repeatedly over this game and it's never taken off. I'm 100% village but without any real way to prove it (besides dying), no ones going to believe me. And as the game winds down the people who've had suspicions of me are going to start being the majority of whos left. I don't want to get lynched, and because my name keeps getting thrown around I'm pretty sure the wolves won't kill me either.

I'm not pushing for your lynch (today!) so there's nothing in particular you need to explain to me....it would be helpful for you to post as much as you can and comment on things or whatever just because that gives everyone more to work with as far as analysis goes. But any questions about yourself I think you've already addressed in my mind. BSC brought you up so I guess look back at her posts and try to address those.

There hasn't been a situation this game where you had to vote for a wolf or else risk looking bad, except maybe STL's lynch, and I have to go back and reread your explanation for that.* It just rubs me a bit the wrong way that you were misrepresenting your previous play, and I'm seeing very similar soft defenses here that I saw in the Pokémon game.


*OK I went and read your explanation for not voting for STL. It does give me pause (am I going in circles again? Hooray). I don't have better evidence on anyone else right now, but hey, there's like 14 hours left in the day. Much still to analyze, probably. I'm starting to get a serious WIFOM headache.

I thought she would have found a more subtle way of lynching STL if she were the seer. I thought it was possible that she was a wolf and just wanted us to lynch our seer to ensure his death to avoid worrying about the protector. In retrospect that would have been a stupid wolf move. Also, after I made my post reacting to WTF's post, I didn't come back on the thread because I was at my high school reunion and quite intoxicated.

Reread her posts in Trilt's Favourite things, and I can't really tell if how she's writing/tone is different. Between being a wolf then and a question mark now. I'll have to read some of her villager games when I wake up and see how it sits with me.

Nope. Most of the time people try to lynch me day one if I talk. Same there. I got mad, made it past the first vote for me after a craptastic day at work and then died the next time I was brought up.

I'd like to not get mod killed. If you go through my post counts per day I was actually lower than my average even though people were saying I was posting a lot. I guess I would chalk that up to fewer people left, plus some of the dead were our more vocal players, it makes it a lot easier to find posts.

Based on PBC's string of one-liners this morning I would say she also doesn't want to be mod killed. Not sure about Teep, maybe doesn't know, maybe doesn't care.
 
Also, 'string of one-liners' makes me sound like a comedian, which I am okay with. (Just don't make me the Watchmen dude)
 
I'm going to lynch BBC

I've had feels on her for awhile now. She does a lot of pointing away from herself with posts, her lynches mostly seem to piggback off other people's reasoning, and she seems to do a lot of re-reading the thread but doesn't really come back with much from doing so. It's a lot of little things that might be something more.

Interesting. Those are some solid points, but what do you mean about pointing away from herself? Was she one of the 'i could never be a wolf because xyz' posters early on?

I guess I could just go back and look myself. But eh.

Yeah, there's been at least 3 times where she's felt the need to say she's never been a wolf. There were also a few times where she was pushing discussion away from noobs being wolves.
 
On the topic of jil being defensive, I don't know how her play might change when she's a wolf, but she was a defensive not-wolf when she was an unaffiliated pirate in PBCs Peter Pan game. I don't think defensiveness alone from her is enough to make me want to lynch her - would have to read through specific comments by her more carefully.

I should have voted for STL, but I didn't. My Bff was here from out of state. We went to a pre-reunion picnic, then got our nails done then I went home, changed and went to the reunion. I made that post from my car between those events. I meant to check back and I didn't. I got super drunk at the reunion too, so ww wasn't on my mind. I really think if I had been a wolf is have jumped on that STL lynch super fast.

I honestly give up. I've said and done all I could to convince you. Could we at least discuss lynch targets other than me so after I'm lynched you guys can actually get a wolf?

DVMD makes me nervous because I feel she's been flying under the radar. SOV is just kind of unpredictable so I'm also cautious of him. WZ is making me wonder too. I've also voiced my concerns about Rojo but I'm willing to put that on the back burner for now.

Do you have any specific reasons why DVMD/SOV/WZ, or just feels? I don't think rojo is a wolf, unless he was recently converted, because of how the STL voting played out.
DVMD and SOV are probably higher on my potential wolf list than WZ, but I would have to go back on my computer tonight to point at specific reasons.

You posted earlier about how you should vote for Zen who you've felt is a villager for most of the game because your feels were of for this game. That's kind of why I had said something similar to the quote above earlier. Having no feels about dvmd has made me suspicious , but she's had a clean game as far as I can tell and I can find anything to back up my theory

Honestly, I might be nuts, but I have more worries about Rojo because of the STL lynch and his need to keep bringing it up as "proof" of non-wolfdom. When it happened, I was wondering about Rojo because of something I read that morning and then STL basically got annoyed with people talking about his roley-ness for nearly a day and kinda outed himself. I think rojo gets credit for staying on the conversation... but I don't think it can be "proof" of villagerness.

But that's how I read it at the time. I'm going to stick with my gut before joining the parade of congrats.
 
Before anybody gets all excited about that though...

I am trying to decide where to put my vote and my current top 3 are: DVMD, SOV and WZ.

The BBC and Jilary lynchés are interesting, but I don't see enough to pull me that way yet.

I fully believe DVMD is a smart and good player who could cover her tracks well as a wolf, but at this point in the game we probably don't want to lynch people just cuz. Everyone has had to post quite a bit and I would think we could find wolfy comments *somewhere* in their posts...
Not saying DVMD can't be a wolf, just that I want to lynch someone for reasons, especially this far into the game.

Saying I should vote for zen was a joke. She's posted a few things that make me believe she's a villager.

And that's why I haven't voted for her at all his game. Its just a feeling that I've had, and its probably wrong. But I'm keeping her on my radar
