I got e-mail on 5 oct Friday. all the correspondance through mail, I received, was mostly on fridays. Looks like Ms Reed handles our files on Fridays !
 
Hi mystik and perrinial dent and happy teeth. I als received interview for 8 NOv. I am a girl. Do u hv an plans to share accomodations at Boston ?? Let me know so that we can talk over phone.

and Axis frm what i've heard the interview lasts til around 3 in the aftrnoon

My interview is on 15th of Nov and will be flying from SFO.
Are u sure urs is on 14th.Coz I thot interviews in BU were scheduled only for Thursdays?

No,we dont have to bring original docs for the interview.Also nothing has been mentioned in the email /letter.

I have an interview at BU on Oct 25th and I just called up the university to ask them if I could reschedule my interview(due to personal reasons) and I spoke to Ms.Linda Reed. She told me that she was glad I had called up since she was planning to call ppl who had their interview on Oct 25th and find out if they could reschedule as they just got news that the Dean of the school passed away over the weekend.She asked me which date would be fine with me and I told her either Nov 8th or Nov 15th.She has said that she will send me a mail regarding the interview date.
Just thot i would let all of u know incase u r planning to reschedule.

I tried to talk to Mr. Tobias Kahan but he was not in the office...waiting for him to return my call...

I have a feeling the interview on 25th will go on as scheduled becos a lot of ppl must've booked their tickets already and cancelling would cost a lot..so dont worry...lemme know what happens.

Thank you for posting the info rtvj.... I have not being able to talk to Mrs Reed or Mr. Tobias but the lady who answered the phone confirm the passing of the Dean... I am really sorry and can't even imagine what they are going through right now... 🙁
I really hope they call me back since I have tickets for tomorrow morning and need to now ASAP if they are changing dates....
 
hey elto..i think u would have got an email by now from Mr.Kahan regarding the rescheduling of dates...they have one on wednesday oct 24th...so it might jus work for u.

I have asked for either nov 8th or nov 15th...dunno which one they'll give me.I think u will get the 24th one becos they r only rescheduling ppl who had their original interview on 25th...anyways..have a safe trip and good luck!!👍

Any girl wanna share accomodation for NOv 8. Even somebody who has already booked a hotel can contact me. I havent booked mine yet.

I am wondering how long it take to get any further response after the application materials are noticed complete? I have been waiting for more than 2 weeks and nothing happened.
Also no new guys who get email about interview showed up here. Just feel strange.
 
hi there,
i applied for Boston on oct 3rd... didnt get to hear from them so i sent a mail to find out about the status of my application. they replied back and said that my reco's, SOP, photograph and transcripts were missing.
i had sent all these documents via fedex to reach the university on oct 9 itself... finally i could manage to get in touch with Mr Kahan and he said that they have a pile of mail and letters and thats my package must be in the pile as well... it was totally frustrating!!! he says he needs some more time to sort out the mail and will get in touch soon....
in the meanwhile i think i'll send another set of my documents .. it feels really bad cos its such a waste of time...

if anyone has an advice i would really appreciate it.

Hi: I did not get full interview since they were busy arranging everything for the Dean's funeral next day. I had a short conversation with Dr. Ashayeri only, just personal questions about work experience in home country and here.... Hope that was enough to make a good impression on her.....

its been more than three weeks since i received any response after my application was considered complete. is it that the normal evaluation time is so long. fearing about the rejection. did anybody got a call for interview after 15th nov

Hi,
No interviews scheduled on nov 22. I think it is Thanks giving day.
 
I had my original interview on oct 25th but had to reschedule it to another date cuz the dean's funeral was held on that day.They gave me many options for the interview and the interview date after Nov 15th was Nov 29th.

my interview is on Nov. 29 Thursday.

any one interviewed in first or second batch of BU got any reply. Do they reply by postal mail only or both postal and email. Last year they started replying 14 days after first interview.

I am sure everyone who have already had their interviews taken are already IN.🙂
My congratulations to everyone in adv.And Best Wishes to those who are scheduled to have their interview sooner or later.

I was just wondering if all you fresh applicants have started getting your acceptance letters. Coz, I had received an email from Mr.Tobias Kahan some days back that he will be sending me, by post, all the documents we need to fill out before matriculation..and also the deposit slip..Let me clear that I had deferred my admission last yr..and so am req. to deposit an additional $3000/-..[Fresh applicants who get accepted this yr will pay only initial sum of $3000/]
Its been over a week now but I havent received any letter from BU as yet..

Did anyone be it a fresh or a deferred student get their acceptance letter etc..Pls . share the info here.

my heartiest congratulations to those who have got their interviews sheduled on 29 and 30nov and best of luck for their interviews. i m waiting for u people to pls let us know when ur applications were noticed complete. it will be very nice if u could post your scores. pls do reply. eagerly waiting. thanks in advance
 
I have decided not to take up BU interview scheduled on Nov 15th. I will let the school know in a couple of days..so someone else will def be called.

Well had my interview today....very nice batch, felt very good to meet all the folks there. i hope we all make it. People and staff are very friendly. Nice lab and classrooms. Met the Hod for implantology, he told BU going to start giving implant cases to DMD and advanced standing students soon ( they got some grant and stuff ) Everybody spoke very high of the teachers there, some are worshipped like missing their class is considered a sin !
The interview very general being why this country, why this university, general interests, future plans etc. They make u really really comfortable. Dr. Ashayare, Dr. Janice Peters and Dr. Goyal all were so good. Ultimately it doesnt looks like you giving an interview. Everybody came out smiling.

Hi,
Just wanted to inform all those who deferred their admission last yr..that I received my new packet from BU today by mail.It has the Student Data form,deposit slip..We have to send in the additional $3000/ by dec 1st 2007.

I feel all fresh applicants will be receiving their acceptance letters soon too.
