Hi: I have been accepted. However, as I mentioned before I did not get a full interview.... 🙁 Can you please give me info about tuition cost, when the program starts, can we apply to federal loans?, etc.... I would really apreciate it.....
 
I recently heard that BU doesnt conduct interviews in dec. Is this true?:scared:
 
any idea how many people apply and how many get interview every yr........in BU
i think as most of the interview thread r either dead or very slow ....most of the univs will be either calling in 1 week of dec or jan onwards .....

my application was complete by 30th oct and i received an interview call yesterday...

Hi,
I have submitted my application to BU. However, I received the email last Friday to inform me that they didn't receive my TOEFL report. I DID order report two months ago. Why they didn't get it? I am wondering whether I used wrong code for the department type. The BU code is 3081 (from their website). But, I can't find any where to fill in department code 38 in ETS order application. Once I select the school by using 3081, which school type should I choose? Undergraduate school (00) or graduate schools? Please help me out!

I had the same problem last year. I applied at the start of Nov and my application got completed in mid Jan when they had already schedualed their interviews for that admission cycle. I didn't even have the candidates score report from ETS, so I would advise you to send your orginal ETS score report to BU. On the other hand if you write to ETS they would send another report to BU free of cost. You can order maximum of two fee waived score reports. Try to be quick as you are running short of time

I am a new member but I must say I am addicted to SDN. This is for all the people with low scores, I think I have the lowest score amongst everybody in this thread, still managed to get a call, I hope I get an acceptance.
MY stats:
NBDE part 1/2 85/79
Toefl; 103
GPA 4
Experience home country 6 mts
us 1 year DA/research at national university.

Ha ha does an interview go bad anytime ? no. It all depends whether u recieved acceptance after that. They think twice to send to people with 80s. Dont worry u ll get it, u r safe.

Otherwise interview is all about chatting for half a day to other candidates, guests, tour-giver and old students. It is cool. They ll give u a room where u will be wth candidates for most of day. 1-1 interview will be for 10 min. with general questions.

I just writing to tell you that i got an interview in BU for february 14...I'm so happy...it was a surprise because my stats are not that great ..I have 87 in the first part(new format) 2.92 GPA and toefle 106..I have 2 years of work experience back in my country and almost a year here as a dental assistant and I'm Chilean. So I hope that some one with the same date reply and for people who have low scores ..go ahead there is still hope

congrats! BUT It is not surprise at all. 87 in new format actually is not low score, and if you check this thread, the truth is so many ppl who are over 90 and got acceptence in BU choose other schools than BU. There are not too many 90+ available for BU to choose from, So, BU has to lower its usual stardard like the score over 90 to fill out 75 spots....🙂

Hi Nimsandy,

the first email was november 20, when my application was complete and then the invitation for the interview was last week december 14..and I have the interview in 2 months february 14.

many many congratulations for your interview letter from BU. I am very happy to hear this . I have almost the same stats but toefl score is only ibt 94. Still i have applied in dec. hoping for God's mercy and some miracle to happen for all of us ,who are going through this life's worst nightmare.
