I don't really know at this point. Mechanical discussion is generally unreadable to me.

Any non-mechanical thoughts floating around in your brain space?

[Animal Midwife]

Any non-mechanical thoughts floating around in your brain space?

Nope.

[WildZoo]

Well. I have nothing...revolutionary. a couple of shorty's comments pinged me as redundant. But also could have just been a "yeah I agree with this" kind of thing, so not something I want to do anything about. Feel like the v/v read from her argument with Zenge is stronger.

Mkg is literally not here which is why I feel like a vote/bounty on her is boring.

Chaos backed off me kind of fast. Not sure what to do with that.

It's enough of a lull that I would feel inclined just to like, pick something small and run with it for the excitement, but I'm too damn tired.

[WildZoo]

Oh I legitimately forgot barks is playing

[Animal Midwife]

@WildZoo Can you explain what you mean by mkg literally not being here? She's made posts and voted genny already.

I meant more like not actively involved/participating vs not here at all ever. Like she hasn't posted since yesterday.

[WildZoo]

Though I guess in that sense "literally" was a poor choice of words

I mean, I definitely saw her react to a post earlier today.

At the risk of being a facking idiot for trusting my gut on someone I felt was wolfy while I was wolfing…

Unvote AM
Vote mkg

Because her tone sounds much more reminiscent of post-coversion mkg than village mkg last game. Not much but it’s the most wolf pings I’ve got so far.

Can you point out what is pinging you in her posts?

[supershorty]

I could see him doing it for the WIFOM but overall it feels like a villager “DGAF about optics” move.

Why do you think it feels village as opposed to NAI?

[WildZoo]

I mean, I definitely saw her react to a post earlier today.

Oh, I didn't see that

[supershorty]

I can be the first yeet guinea pig, its all good.

I'm struggling with how to interpret cubs' reaction to my yeeting him. IME, village!cubs is more reactive and emotional than wolf!cubs, it's part of how I come to reads on him and why I wanted to put pressure here early to see if I could resolve a read on him sooner, but this was much more blasé than I'd expect from either wolf or village. I guess we'll see what happens as we get closer to yeet close.

[supershorty]

@Zenge142, do you have any thoughts on mk's posts so far?

[Zenge142]

@Zenge142, do you have any thoughts on mk's posts so far?

No. She hasn't really posted enough to get a good read on her.

She clearly misconstrued my meaning in my one post and got very reactionary about it, but I wouldn't necessarily say that's a "wolf!MK" or a "village!MK" thing to do, so I'm not putting too much stock in it.

[Animal Midwife]

Oh, I didn't see that

Does that impact anything for you?

well I'm here now I had to recover from a WW hangover, but I'm all ready to go again!
also had some srs bzness to do - I had to pick an appropriate picture, and I figured I should stick with star wars since that worked so well for me in the last game

[alleycat03]

It wont kill you. Just less effective 🙃

*****
Yeah I definitely feel like it was not very effective. I told her it wouldn’t kill me but it might not work since it was so expired. I still have the pounding headache and I’m home from work now. Might go to bed early, we’ll see.

I'm impressed yall could get that out of the 2 nonsense posts I posted earlier. interesting.

[alleycat03]

This feels weird

I thought it was kind of odd too. But maybe it was a joke that didn’t quite land? It didn’t seem threatening to me, but I think Chaos may have felt that it was?

Nope.

When was the last time AM didn’t have thoughts on anyone? I know it’s early but that feels weird. She can be withholding of her reads, but usually she’ll at least tell us who she’s suspicious of atm or will share someone she feels okay about

Literally last game I only had a village read on mayo +/- Alissa suspicions.

At the beginning of Casino, she said something similar, though she'd given some thoughts on alissa and mayo at that point. But that was it.

Spoiler

I'd like to speak more with @Animal Midwife. And I'm wondering where @mkg323 ran off to.

What's up?

I need your thoughts beyond alissa and cubs.

Not going to happen at this point.

Why

Wait, when did I even say anything about cubs?

My bad, I meant mayo. Got your frequent pushes mixed up

Because a list full of neutrals is a waste of my time.

That's where you're at with over 700 posts?

You were also a 3P so I’d argue it was a different mindset since you could’ve won with the wolves or the villagers, but point taken.

Thank you for the quotes as a reminder. It’s sad I don’t even remember something from early January, but 🤷🏻‍♀️ I’m gonna blame my headache

Ok it's been half an hour, got any thoughts?

[alleycat03]

I guess I’m just feeling pretty apathetic right now? Nobody seems super wolfy or super villagey. Anything that seems off to me I’ve already mentioned.

My vote on MKG from last night was a joke, but I’m going to keep it there until I hear more from her. I see Vis’ point about her having a wolfy tone in her posts, but I’m more bothered by her just popping in here and there with a post or two and not having much substance when she’s here.

[Animal Midwife]

No. That was my village mindset. For me, I can only play exactly like a villager or exactly like a wolf. There's no other option regardless of my affiliation.

? I’ve never played as a 3P before so I’ll just take your word for it

[supershorty]

Hmm I'm looking back at Casino and mkg was reactive about AM having a gun and potentially shooting her, even though it seemed fairly unlikely at the point where she was being dramatic about it. Tonally, I see a slight difference, maybe, but it's hard to tell because she's posted so little thus far in this game.

@alleycat03, can you explain for me what you're picking up in her tone that's giving you wolfy vibes vs being her usual wolfy aura?

Maybe since it’s an experimental game I’m not feeling the usual pressure? More like it’s an exhibition game?

Right now it’s just her usual wolfy aura for me. It was Vis that thought she had a wolfy tone. I said her popping in and out and having nothing of substance is what’s bothering me.

[cubsrule4e]

Did you feel that way in Casino?

No, that was never touted as completely experimental, he just mentioned a mechanics craze. This has bounties and stuff that are totally foreign. I kinda still feel like I don’t have any bearings at the moment since we havent been through a cycle to see what’s happening.

[alleycat03]

oh so you are going to follow 2 joke votes with a serious vote/bounty? S U S

@supershorty I just did a quick ISO on MKG. This is the only post I’ve seen that even comes close to game play/strategizing. And she got a lot of flack for that, for being too reactive. So she’s a giant question mark for me right now but I’m not a huge fan of what she’s posted so far

Yeah, I'm not either, I just am not sure yet that it's wolfy vs typical mk. That's part of why I asked Zenge if he had a read on her - he's pretty good at reading her, and him feeling like there wasn't enough for him to go on yet made me look at Vis a little sideways.

[supershorty]

Was she wolf or village in casino?

Village.

[Barkley13]

I feel best about alley right now, and tentatively okay about genny because her reactions to Zenge are more in line with how village!genny interacts with him than wolf!genny.

What is making you feel best about alley rn? I haven’t seen anything that leans me either way yet

[WildZoo]

I'm told someone is trying to surpass my post count? That's highly illegal.

Tonally, her posts feel more like village!alley to me than wolf!alley. She's excited about the mechanics and the tinfoiling, which could be NAI but I feel like I've seen it more from her when village. That stood out to me when she was trying to figure out who put the bounties down before Dubz and cubs had claimed them.

Reading back through her ISO, I'll be interested to see how her thoughts on some people evolve because on reread, there are a few posts that could be taken as light sus sprinkling, but that's not how they read to me when I put them in context of the thread - just in the ISO (like commenting on Zenge being crafty, etc.).

[supershorty]

I'm told someone is trying to surpass my post count? That's highly illegal.

That sounds like a challenge to me.

[kaydubs]

Nope.

Aw man, we broke AM.

[WildZoo]

Mmm. Barks' two recent posts are pinging me but I can't put my finger on why. And agree with whomever that it seems off for Vis to actually have a tone read on mkg based on the posts she had made up to that point.

[supershorty]

@mkg323 do we need to do a repeat of Casino, where I harass you mercilessly until you actually contribute? Thoughts please.

Do you think a wolf!Vis would try to push a village!mk 2 games in a row? That's where I'm getting a little hung up.

[WildZoo]

That sounds like a challenge to me.

The real challenge is 1000 posts 😉

[supershorty]

I'm not village reading mk by any means, to be clear. I'm just skeptical that anyone can have a read on her right now when the few things she's posted seem fairly NAI for her so far.

[supershorty]

The real challenge is 1000 posts 😉

I definitely cannot achieve that this game, too busy at work.
