Can you be exempt from the NY compounding exam?

I was told that if you're a licensed rph in another state, working for 1 year, that you only have to take the NY MPJE and NOT the compounding exam. Can anybody tell me if this is true and where to find that info??

I am a licensed pharmacist in New York, I believe this is true based on this info:

You must not have failed the NYS compounding exam at any point however. Some residences in NYS will also waive the compounding exam if the fulfillment of compounding competency are completed in the residency.
