Countdown to May 16th Release!!

I couldn't be happier the cheap shot warriors lost. It was starting to look like bush league at the end of the third quarter.

Now that we are 7.5 hours into the 16th what time do you guys think the scores will be released. I am in india and it is already 5 here. I am wondering if I will just have to wake up and check them in the am or if I will have to stay up until about 3 or 4 here if they come out late afternoon.

I, too, suffer from mcat dreams. what's weird is that the scores never actually add up to what they add up to in the dream! Last night, for instance, I got a "28"- PS-11, VR-07, BS-12... except it's really a 30. A few weeks ago, I dreamt I got a "41"- PS-13 VR-15 BS-15...

The April 7th ones came out around 4 or 5PM on the day they were scheduled to be released.
Check the april scores thread, but I think it was around 3PM EST.

I believe they were told they were going to come out around 5 pm, but actually came out around 4ish?
I bet they are just hanging around a computer and laughing at the comments we are writing on SDN.

Hey. I just called AAMC and talked a rep. He said the scores will be released today by 5PM EST. So, just like how the April 7th ones were released. Damn today is going to be a long day.

I am seriously about to chew my arm off. This morning I woke up around 6:30 after having a dream that MCAT scores came out. However, the way yu had to check them was tricky. This woman at my work had a bunch of baseball caps spread all over the place. Caps stacked upon caps. You had to find the cap with your name. Once you found it, you looked under the cap to find your score written on a shoddy piece of paper. Of course, they couldn't find my cap. Everyone else found theirs, but there was a "mistake in the system" finding mine. She eventually found it, but I woke up feeling ready to vomit from anxiety...seriously people, I hope med school is worth this much sweat. This is how nuerotic I am. I'm even nervous to say anything bad about the MCAT, thinking that I might alter some cosmic thing or "f" up my MCAT karma, if I even have any...man, I'm going nuts. Four and a half more hours to go at least...
So what, they are going to release the scores at the time they close the office. Are they gonna be all like, "hey Peter see you tommorow....Dont forget to turn off the lights on your way out. ......Oh yeah and dont forget to release the MCAT scores for May 16'th too......
This is pretty ridiculous. Its FREAKING COMPUTERIZED now. They should have have everyone's score the day after the test is taken. How long does it take the computer to take all those numbers and put a curve on it and then release the score on a web site. They are lucky they have a monopoly this. In the real business world someone would have come in a done a better job and undercut them already.😡
I try to take comfort in the fact that they have already scored my exam (probably long ago) and that whatever I do now won't affect it in the least... as if anything I have done after the actual exam would have made a difference. Why do I feel like my very thoughts can affect the exam?
What if Peter wants a raise, is the only one who knows how to release them, and will be like "I'm not releasing anything until you triple my salary!"So what, they are going to release the scores at the time they close the office. They have to get the written responses graded. If they just released the PS, VR, and BS scores and wait to release the written scores, then the written section would diminish even more from it's already paltry significance.
Just a little off topic, I am watching Jerry Springer for the first time in about ten years. Wow...
I wish i could get an answer before 1, but i doubt it...
