CSU 2024-2025 (c/o 2029 hopefuls)

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I was pulled from the alternate waitlist earlier this morning. Not 100% sure yet what I’m going to do I have some things to weigh out before getting back to them by Friday. I had accepted another offer but CSU was up there on my list for sure. It’s just the cost of living and housing in the area, and if my husband can find a job doing what he is already.

Hi all! I’ve been a quiet lurker on this forum for a while, and I’m happy for all those who got in or chose another amazing school! I’m a first time applicant from out of state but Colorado was my #1 choice from the start. I literally got rejected from all the 11 other schools I applied to and got put on the OOS alternate list for CSU, so it’s literally my last hope! I could be like #2000 on this waitlist but I’m trying to stay positive. Thank you for all those writing on here it’s keeping me hanging on

Hi guys, like the last couple of people I have also just been a quiet lurker the past few months and even last cycle. CSU is the only school that waitlisted me and I got rejected from all other schools. I am feeling a bit confused and full of anxiety bc i am not sure what will happen next or what to do. I recently start a job that I relocated for and i have fallen in love with it, but vet school has been wat i've been working towards for so long... Hoping we all get good news :'[

Good morning everyone! Hope you all are doing well!
I'm still waiting to see if I'm one of the lucky few to get off the waitlist. Trying to stay positive is hard but, it's all anyone can do! Sending good vibes to everyone out there! 🫶
Wishing the best for you!! I was totally caught off guard when I got the email about the update to my account.

This was my fourth cycle for applications (waitlisted at schools every time for the first 3), so I completely understand the stress and constant checking of emails. Sending good vibes and keeping fingers crossed for you!

So excited to post that I have been pulled off the waitlist and have accepted my position as a non-sponsored applicant. This is my third time applying and the only offer i received. I wish everyone else on the waitlist luck and remind you all not to give up. My last time applying i had almost given up when i decided to get my masters through colorado states online program in microbiology immunology and pathology and essentially did vet prep on my own. I really think that getting my masters was the reason i was accepted this round. So i highly recommend the MIP program to everyone its easy to apply and was such an amazing program.

Does anyone know how many OOS csu people were taken off the waitlist last year? This is my dream school and I haven’t heard back and I’m super anxious
