Death Nommy - Game Thread

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
genny's ISO took much less time. Wahoo.
First post. I think this is a fine, funny intro.

This feels like genuine exacerbation.

An insight no one else had pointed out yet.

Spicy on JJJ, but mainly quoted for 2 because it foreshadows something later on.

Annoyed with JJJ but doesn't seem overly defensive. Pretty chill.

Despite earlier annoyance, not willing to vote JJJ.

First genny vote on the board is thrown fruit's way.

The stagg part has been discussed already but I'm more interested in the Indy bit. genny and Indy are incompatible.

This was @ DVMD. And I want to point toward the Indy sus again.

I honestly don't think a wolf would include the second sentence. The first, absolutely, but the second? Mmm...
But that's my opinion.

Okay, this is what I was talking about when I mentioned her JJJ sus foreshadowing something. This seemed weird at the time but there actually was a precedent for genny thinking this way.

I just think this is funny and encapsulates genny well.

Annoyed with fruit.

This made me hmm but it seems in line with her previous thinking.
What I've gleaned from genny's ISO is that she isn't really thinking about the game the way most other people are: and I mean that as a compliment. I think she has unique insight and approaches the setup differently which is contributing to her seeming like she might not be giving reads (but she is). I am village-reading genny.
Of note: genny is not compatible with either Indy or fruit. If genny flips wolf, I struggle to see Indy or fruit being a packmate. If Indy or fruit flip wolf, I have no interest in voting genny.
Yes! In line with my overall impression of genny that I mentioned before
genny did make some weird posts but again reminded me of Casino!genny. It's like having a nonstandard setup puts her in a unique genny headspace, full of uniquely genny ideas. Suggesting killing me would be such an off the wall thing for w!genny to do.

I do think genny/fruit interactions look good for her if fruit flips wolf. Not as sure about Indy? Would have to look at context for some of those d1 quotes.

Day 4 Yeet Tally
indy (4) - Zenge, indy, rae, samac
fruit (5) - Dubz, April, genny, SAR, DMVD
genny (1) - fruit

10/11
@fruitsalad is in the lead!
yeet close in ~34 minutes
Missing: PSV

Mission impossible i fumbled really badly in D1 and only got spared because of new player forgiveness before being yeeted soon after

Goats 3 i fumbled really badly by contributing to that D0 mayor tie and was correctly misyeeted D1

And now, the stagg interactions

I should stop fruiting in D1

How are you reading genny and why

I am reading genny as genny, which means she is still a bit sus, but not as high as you and Indy. Honestly, I have always been and will always be a terrible genny reader. Genny is a loose cannon in my mind, she just beats to her own drum regardless of affiliation and she is doing the same here, so I don't have anything concrete to point to and go "yup, village" or "yup, wolf".

You should vote Indy.

So I just wanna say that even though fruit has talked a lot about expecting death today, and being okay with being today's vote, when votes actually got put on and got them almost to a hammer, they were suddenly a bit more panicked about being on the chopping block. It feels sus. A villager that's really done would either be fighting all day or have rolled over for real. A wolf would be more motivated to fake being done to look like villagery defeat but then really panic when it comes down to voting time

It’s not really a panic because i know people are making a case on me and it’s unfair to end discussion early

this is a very decent iso
shy snow white GIF

Ehhh if the consensus is me, it’s me? If it’s not, there’s enough to pick fruit. Not going to defend myself only to look more wolfy.
Idk man. You're the only one whose affiliation you know. You don't have to die, nothing is consensus, nothing is a foregone conclusion.

That's me speaking to village!indy, if you're a wolf feel free to uh...do whatever strategy this is hmmyes

I just feel like I should point out to both indy and Zenge that indy would not be close to dying rn if they weren't both voting there, against their reads/best interest, and it just confuses me a lot.

Okay, a bushel of fruit quotes that I think are actually pretty damning. I'm not spoilering them because I'm afraid no one will actually read them if I do and this took a long time dammit

JJJ feels helpful with his analyses but i’m getting paranoid vibes he could be a wolf trying to gain thread control and direct eliminations
Hedgey hedgey, putting out sus in a way to see if it could gain traction without having to commit
Rough impressions are largely tone/vibes/feelz from overall posts so far

The general impression i got from JJJ is he’s helpful but may be helpful in a misdirecting sense
Again, seeing if anyone will bite.
PSV or Stagg (leaning toward PSV more though because i don’t know Stagg), genny, you i think
When asked by JJJ who he would put up on D1 if he were suddenly voted out. I think it's really interesting that Stagg is on this list when he spent a lot of time on D1 saying he didn't think Stagg was a wolf
ZENGE AND CLEM IS V/W
I addressed a day or two ago that I think anyone pushing this narrative strongly had higher wolf utility. This was an oppotunity to pit a strong town read against a typically strong town player
Massive reevaluation. This is necessary upon rereading and realizing JJJ can’t be a wolf
"Massive reevaluation" = I am a wolf and I know who village is. There was no evidence or justification to this change, just "I re-read and changed my mind". A villager should give us some reasoning here (hopefully)
I disagree all are town
The start of the push that there must be a wolf in the town reads - this is a strong continuous theme for fruit and feels like an attempt to get others to question the blocc
I’m starting to doubt my earlier statement that clem is a wolf
Wishy washing again, with no reasoning to back it up or to understand why they are making the change.
I also think given how D1 went, we need to consider wolves giving off village vibes

I have a lot of green reads that i think a wolf may be lying among them
Again, "a wolf in the green"
so i don’t think clem is a wolf

But we need to consider rae as one possibility as well as samac i think
So this is an interesting segment. After he posted this I pushed back on it and got the following two quotes as a response. IMO this reads as again trying to bring questioning into players that are consensus village-read, then having to back pedal quickly when actually questioned so that he wouldn't have to take an actual stand on it himself when no one bit at the breadcrumbs
Certainly all 3 can be village
As of now, all village

i’m still following my late D1 hunches
Evidence of perhaps less effort going into reads - this would fit more with a wolf mentality
i don’t understand the indy suspicions
Fishing for sus to tag onto
im worrying if wolves are hiding in my green reads
Again, blocc dismantling
g a far reaching possibility that if there’s a wolf hiding in my green reads, JJJ is a good bet
And again
so when samac set up that gotcha vote on WZ, i think a wolf fell for it
More breadcrumbs to see if anyone would take it and run. Then when questioned about this:
well i don’t feel good about DVMD, SAR, and PSV at the very least
Provides names but no analysis of such and no conviction as to which he feels is wolf. Again, waiting for someone else to go "hmm" and make the argument for him so he doesn't have to come up with reasoning that someone else could pick apart.
Because:

1. There’s a chance a wolf can be hiding in village reads and we’re misclearing someone

2. We’re still trying to vote out wolves, even when given unfavorable choices
Again with the wolf in the village
The discussion assumes that all 3 are villagers
See the theme?
I have a theory that wolves fell for samac’s gotcha vote on WZ and was approaching this from an activity/timestamp angle but i’m now realizing it’s a stretch, especially since i saw SAR’s vote was for different reasons
This circles back to the gotcha vote comments. Again, when pressed to commit, he backs off.

Also pretty sure neither I nor Stagg had shown up at this point, so very interesting.

I think in terms of wolfiness, my vote is spiritually on fruit. But I do still feel like as of now Indy likely needs flipping. Assuming fruit goes over, things may change tomorrow. idk.

Is it legal for me to give you the soul read yet or are you still mad about it? :bucktooth:

I agree that I think they both need flipping. I was hoping they might pour their hearts out with my last request for comment, but nada.
