Oh ya, as soon as you hit exit it exam the screen flashers congrats you are a big loser who is going to fail pathology. It does grade it right off of the bat. I was talking to someone who couldn't get theirs to finish and Matz came over and helped em and stayed to watch the 60 percent pop up
Sweet! At least you don't have to wait all weekend to find out that you're a big freakin loser. You gotta love technology!

I think it can only be done by a moderator.

OK, I realize that this may be a little late, but I'm still recovering from a combination of that week in Vegas and too many Guinesses on St. Patrick's day. If you are an SDN doner or SDN angel you can close your own threads. In fact, you can even delete them. But...you have to be a moderator to do it to another thread.

Are any of you 08/09's around or did you all run away?

I am here all week. I have to take the Resp/Renal Physiology test next Wed bc of a family emergency I missed the original. I was in the library today doing some research for my mentor on lower limb inequality and there was no one up stairs. There was honestly five people in there, it was nice.

The doctor I'm with got called into the ER on Monday because a guy was roofing and accidentally shot himself in the foot with a nailgun. The nail went through the fifth met shaft and broke it. He took him into surgery and threw in some sweet hardware (a plate and a few screws). Anyway, his first post op appointment was Thursday. His foot looks OK all considering. Anyway, the lesson of the week for all you spring break junkies is...
BEWARE OF NAILGUNS!!!

I say we make krabmas an honorary DMU self-proclaimed super-genius.

I think Krabmas wishes that they went to DMU.......maybe? Only to be as cool as us DMU self proclaimed geniuses

Hey Haffdoc, are you ready for your showdown w/ Hyle Kaffner tommorrow?

Yeah but I wont be there because I have to take that makeup physiology test because of the funeral. But if I was going to be there I was going to come as Hyle Kaffner because that is who I want to win.

Agreed! The only thing is that I dont think she is worthy of the third row yet. She may have to sit in the 4th row for the time being. She can be a "DMU self-proclaimed super-genius of the 4th row aspiring for a seat in the 3rd row". Its ok Krabmas, keep talking about how awesome our cornfields are and we may promote you one day.

If you moved DMU to NYC I'd want to go there. I chose NYCPM based on location and there was no general application to fill out. That thing was a nightmare.

but thanks to all for the offer. Oh - and I'll take my honorary spot because then I can stay in NYC. (at least until residency) I'm so not staying in NYC to train or practice.

You're not coming to DMU for the basketball tourney?

NO 🙁

I played ball last year and the year before. I did not play this year because I had too many other responsibilities.

I'm sure the children of the corn will place well they usually do.

Hey Ilizarob and the other second years. How did it feel to be the first year warm-up mop up game? Kinda like if BYU played Weber State in FB don't you think? (had to put it in your terms)

Yeah, no doubt about it, you guys treashed us. It was a good wake-up call. But mark my words, when it comes game time, you will be left in the dust. We just need to get used to playing with each other.

I am going to look into Friday with on the Gym schedule and if it is open I think we should play then and make it more situational. I will see if I can get the clock

Yeah and I'll scream obscenities at you guys like a hostile crowd

oh trust me your team is hostile enogh without you being there. they have Nate and he is like a bull, my ribs are still hurting today from an elbow from him. The thing is that he is so strong he doesn't realize that it hurts.

I say we take the best players from the DMU pod teams and put them on one team for the tourney. DMU has to win the trophy back.

The so called "third year" team has already done that. You know, with the recruitment of a certain 1st year. I heard they bought him a mercedes as an incentive to join.

Whatever it takes to win. I just hope the team is better than all the fat, old men that play every Tuesday/Thursday

Ha, there is no denying that. Im also typing this as I slurp my 44 ounce Mountain Dew in the Library that DMU freely distributes from its own cafeteria. I dont know what all this "Health promotion" is all about here when its sooooo easy to buy a greasy bacon swiss burger here at the school. Mmmmmmm, that sounds good. Dont tell Joy that I eat those things. My recent PWP was less than satisfactory if you know what I mean.

Hey 08's, did everyone get by lower limb?

The grades have not been finalized yet. In fact, our practical scores have not been posted yet. Although, we all know what we got already. I have not heard of anyone who did not pass.

Ya, but they were on the brink of being expulsed from the college anyway. I hear they're going to start a lower limb massage parlor.

Those two guys have to be the worst students that ever matriculated here at DMU. How they got in, I will never know. But I heard they have the command of the dean at their fingertips.

No, no, you got it backwards. They are the Dean's tools.

Sorry you are wrong I got a 90 on the final, and passed with flying colors. I really don't think anyone failed to my knowledge, but anything is possible, with the quizes taken out I would have had 10% points higher in the class. Well Dr Feelgood I guess we can't use are screen name as alternate identities since you're using real names. I liked the level of anonymity that screen names provided. How was your cruise? I can't believe you failed intro to biomech and they had to give a couple back so you could pass!

I seriously doubt that they will count those quizzes. That was just a way to get you slacker 08's to start showing up to lab.

It is so nice to hear that even at the OH SO GREAT DMU there are slackers and extra points and cover ups so people can get by.

I really thought NYCPM was the only one. They do not do the extra points thing but we have re-evals and remediation. (basically 2 extra shots to take the test over if you fail the class).

I heard that Dr. Feelgood got a 100% in intro to biomechanics. I personally got a 90 something, but I can never match the level of the super genius Ilizarob, plus that guy is good-lookin. Man!

Krabs, these clowns are b.s.ing. They do points back, which I fight tooth and nail, but I understand why. They use that damn voodoo called statistics to figure the discriminative index. It takes into effect the number of people who missed a question and who missed the question. If only 25% of the class got it right, but all of the people who got it right got As on the test; the question stands. If 25% get the ? right, but it is a random collection of As, Bs, and Cs. They figure the question was only answer correctly by guess. They then review the question w/ the faculty member to wrote the ?, if they agree that the question was poor they'll toss it. Two factors come into play the DI and the review of the question by the faculty. Without both, you just cry over the missed question.

They do the same BS at NYCPM - the statistical crap blah blah blah.

There was a little hint of sarcasm in my last post. I guess you can dish the sarcasm, but you can't take it?

I think that about 1/4 of the 08 class are the finer sex. There might be a few more in the 09 class.
