DMU self-proclaimed super-geniuses of the third row

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I was almost killed today while performing routine footcare on a mental patient. He chucked his caretaker across the room and kept trying to bite and kick me. I had to bring the muscle in (a 6-foot-8-inch TEXAN). You second years have a lot to look forward too!!!

What is routine foot care? JK

next time someone says they want an exciting 4 years of school I will send them to DMU. even in harlem in our clinic and hospital we do not have crazy harmful patients. they may all be crazy but very rarely do they hurl the help.

Nobody wants to mess with the 6-foot-8-inch Texan. He works at the gym and I make sure that I bring my ID card every time so to not stir up any trouble. He's a mean bruit. Although if you are on his good side, you have protection for life. Kind of like those who voted for Pedro on Nepoleon Dynamite.

Yeah I heard that guy is wanted by all of the gangs in school b/c of his skills w/ a boa staff but he hasn't joined one. He's kind of like Chuck Norris.

He's been known to kill a man with his bare hands!

I heard that Jonwill was a lot like Chuck Norris.

Chuck Norris does not sleep, he waits.

He (6-foot-8-inch Texan) kind of reminds me of that dude on "Happy Gilmore". You know, with the nail stuck in his head. The one that beat up shooter at the end. Dont tell him I said that though.

Jonwill and Chuck Norris are the only people who have ever defeated a brick wall in a game of tennis.

Did you hear that Jonwill AKA Chuck Norris is the only man who has ever counted to infinity? Twice!

Has anybody been turned away from the gym because of the new "school ID policy"? I saw them send someone packing today and it was quite entertaining.

I forgot my ID one saturday morning and they would not let me in. I had to drive all the way home and then come back. You'd think they would figure a way out to look you up on the computer.

Thats ridiculous! Someone was telling me that they could not enter eventhough the person behind the counter sees them go in and checks their card every day. But this one time they forgot it and had to go home. Its all about the power.

If you forget your ID, just wait until one of your friends goes in. The desk the attendant sits behind extremely high. Just crawl right by! I bet it is totally possible. What do you think???

come to NYCPM. all you need is the code to get into the gym and it is posted above the lock on the door!

Just thought I'd let you guys know that the women's bball team loved the DMU campus. They said it was the best for pod schools so far. (they have not seen arizona yet though)

I was cheering for the NYCPM girls but you could tell they got tired from the long flight, drive, and then the late night of BBall.

Will, Dr. Weil is coming to DMU in less than 2 weeks and I have not recieved your confirmation yet. Get it in now or I will ban you from the food court. Not to metion you will have to respond to the spec comittee also. Think about that.

Ya, I know. It is on my "to do" list. I'll try and get it to you today. I can think of many things that are worse than being banned from eating summerfields!

Too bad you couldnt make it. I heard Feelgood hosted a smashing party at his place on Sat night. From what my sources say, he put a new meaning to his name.

Anybody trying out for the new DMU clinic commercials (listed on the Portal)?

I saw it on the portal but I didnt check out the pdf. You have to try-out? What do you have to do? Walk around campus with a backpack and some friends laughing and having fun as if you lived for the studying?

With some of the people walking around this place, it could go either way. But then again, I bet CSPM could one-up us in that department

Are you looking for a doctor? It’s like she’s known our family forever. I got a shot and it didn’t hurt any… They seem to understand how. You’ll love mine. everything in my body works…together. Gentle, tender, I trust them with my baby. I want to grow up to be a doctor – Primary Care, Radiology, DMU Check Our References

I love that script! especially the part were "everything in my body works...together." I don't know about anyone else, but I hope that I never have a Kamikaze organ go balistic on me.

Stone, I think you'd be perfect for the commercial. You already have the script memorized!

As we are now closing out another wonderful year at DMU, what are your thoughts and feelings?

I've got two words for all of you, "SEE YA!" 🙂

I will be so glad when this last month is over. Actually I will be glad after May 4th and we are done with the neuroanatomy professors and one certain one that will not go named. Let's just say that he thinks that these quizes are there for getting people to come and listen to his lectures and I am sick and tired of him!!!

And when I am a second year and the first years ask me about the first year. I am just going to say "Ah it isn't that bad."

I don't think that anyone would ever want to go through the 1st year ever again. I think I'd probably do something else w/ my life if we had 2 years like the first year.

NO WAY would I ever do the first year over! I'm not sure how I survived. I just remember being in the library the entire year.
