Having spent the summer in the SMSPP program, here's my 2 cents. They'll work you hard for 5 weeks of ISAC gross anatomy, you most likely won't have time for anything else except studying gross anatomy every day. The alternative is to take it in the regular year and do it in 2 months (top of some other courses) - which is pretty manageable. The main problem with ISAC is yes, you cram it all in during your 5 weeks, but your first 2 months of school is way too light, so you tend to study less, and when the next system hits, you'll hit a wall (some people feel like they have to "go back" into studying mode again). I've seen it first hand in a few ISACers. The other thing is, once you become labeled an "Isacer", there's a tendency for them to stick together, lol, like people will go "o... he/she's one of them". It's nothing probably, but be forewarned if you end up hanging out with only the other ISACers for the rest of the year - 2 years lol.. Also, if you are Canadian, you probably need some time to figure out your apartment situation, get a driver's license? get a car, etc etc, set up your bill, get internet - all these things take up an incredible amount of time. I seriously doubt that you'll be able to do these things on top of ISAC..
