It should be noted that the last game I played with AM was Dy's game, so I probably had my memories colored a bit by that. Either way I felt that AM was posting significantly less than they normally do even if they aren't a super active player in the first place. When I placed that vote I think the posts they had on thread were sign ups and one lynch vote.

I'm curious if anyone had their ability stolen last night. I haven't seen anyone mention it yet (between GRE studying and work fiasco, I can't be on much today, maybe I missed it?). If someone was targeted but was tithing last night, it might point to a hold where there is no wolf.

I had my ability stolen last night. I mentioned it on my Hold PM but hadn't put it on thread yet.
 
I'm curious if there's more than one blocker in the game.

And I'm not sold on SOV being a wolf tbh, but I don't have a good reason to accuse anyone else either 😕
 
I just got am message on my phone that I am getting lynched.
Mods if this is against the rules you can mod kill me, but since there is no pm-ing I understand.

I don't have time to read the lack of reasoning involved...but I am a bad choice to lynch.

I have revealed to my group....hopefully there are no wolves....at least better odds than revealing to all you numbskulls. Probably not a bad idea to protect me anyway,

I stated it in my hold. It was from me, using the communication drums. Anyone else who's gotten the drums as an item knows what the description is and I mistook the meaning of the description.
 
Eh....I'm not totally sold on the SOV lynch. However, I also didn't get wolfy feels from RM.
On the other side, was it SOV that admitted to saying he was busy to avoid lynch in the past or was that LIS? All I know for sure is that SOV said everything is fair game in WW last game.

I'm going •••lynch SOV••• for now but will keep an eye out for an people who can defend him

Iirc basically EVERYONE has used that excuse in the past.

But we are grown ups (most of us) with busy lives so I tend to believe it.

This seems so weird to me....(aside from the fact that we just went over the SOV/LIS thing a few posts ago). He just said he role revealed to his group. That's four people (@Filly Bay @DVMDream @Promethean @ResoluteMike ) who could easily jump on and say "nuh uh" if he's full of ****. There wasn't much of a reason behind voting for him in the first place, besides lack of information and a desire to get the ball rolling. He's clearly defended, and with three-ish hours left before lynch closes, there's plenty of time to switch back to him if what he revealed to his group is sketchy. Why not put your vote somewhere you think you'll keep it for a while instead of somewhere you're anticipating hopping off of?

The whole LIS vs SOV, I know there were 2 games recently where a GOM said something about not feeling bad about lynching people who say they are busy. In one of them 3 people talked about it and one bragged about using being busy to get out of being lynched as a wolf. I could have sworn at least one of those voices was SOV, but I'm on my phone and just don't feel like wandering the interwebs to see if my memory sucks as much as it probably does. I do know he never fought against the idea, so while I still squirm in my seat, I would rather someone back up what he said before moving off.

I will however keep looking for a better option, but I'm home now and the kids take precidence over the game, so I don't know how much I'll get done during my 8-20 "bathroom" breaks before lynch. 😉
 
Okay, since no one else appears to be on, I'll take a quick break from cooking dinner. SOV told us his role name and his basic ability (as in, not the full description). His ability is one that would be bad idea to lynch if he's a villager, but could easily be a wolf ability. His name is one that has been mentioned as a possible wolf in the game but I don't know enough about the series to lean one way or the other on that.

Make of that what you will. I'm willing to give him a chance and let him prove his ability at least to us.

I dunno. SOV is hard to read. VMH hasn't seemed wolfy in our hold pms, but that means little.

Well. At least we shall gain useful info one way or another with this lynch then. If SOV is a wolf, we are on the right track with who are wolves. If he is village, we've got some good candidates to check out.

I want more than just 'his role could be questionable.' A questionable dragonrider? Questionable hold person? Questionable as in his character had screwy ethics, or questionable as in his character murders or betrays friends? I thought we'd already established that a lot of roles from this series could go either way. I don't want to lose a smart player like SOV to something so wishy washy.
 
This lynch is shaping up to be another where everyone switches at the last minute.

Looking at the wolf targets we've had so far, Guis and MQ were in the same group, and MQ at least had an ability the wolves would want to get rid of. Dy wasn't in the same hold as they were, but these three specifically make me question Kam. She's in the same hold as Guis and MQ, so it's possible something in their pm made he target them. Kam has identified Trilt as a wolf before based on an early Dy kill, and it feels weird to me that Dy was again targeted so early in this game. I know she mentioned suspicions about a blocker in her group - maybe Kam is a good target today?

As you'll see by the tag on the post, I was on my phone. That doesn't bare well to checking back on the thread to fact-check while replying. I stated my point, and whoops it was repetition. At least we were all on the same track??

I voted SOV because at the time I wrote that it had been a little bit and still no one had backed him up. Now that all this other stuff has come out I am happy to keep my vote where it is.

In general if you are going to reveal your role and/or ability and there is PM allowed, that is the way to do it. I can wreak havoc as a wolf because noobs go off and announce everything on the thread.
