Yes, I too would really appreciate seeing an estimate for a first year international student. I built the following estimate from random gathering of forum comments and internet postings: 47,000 USD for tuition and then possibly a total of 74,000 USD (somewhere I read rent is like 375 euros per week) for the 9 month period inclusive of tuition and living expenses.

What I replied with above is for the entire school, so does apply to the vet school. The only thing that will be different is the date of orientation. They will let you know that closer to the start of term. It will be around then, but may be a week earlier.
Hi! Can you share a bit about your experience with full COA per an academic year at UCD? Obviously you aren’t a first year and your tuition is probably different but if you could do a little breakdown average of what certain things cost you on top of tuition would be amazing so I can get a better estimate for my year 🙂

Appreciate it! Also it does make me wonder though if open spots are considered for all people on the waitlist or would the spot only go for international students and visa versa for a domestic spot opening up.
The 4 year and 5 year programs are separate, so if a 4 year spot opens up, it will go to a 4 year applicant. There are very few Irish applicants to the 4 year program, and there are a limited number of spots held for them. The majority (about 90%) of the spots are for North American students. For the 5 year program, the Irish students do not find out until about a week or so before school starts. That is all done through a government service based on their Leaving Cert results.
