Hey guys just a heads up I emailed admissions asking about my status and to see if I was screened out- they informed me that I was emailed a secondary August 13th but it was sent to a wrong email address- the admissions office was incredibly friendly and helpful and sent me the secondary to my correct email over the phone .... Point being if its been over 7 weeks since your primary was verified and you have over 24 MCAT and 3.2 GPA and haven't gotten a secondary might want to kindly email them and ask about it
 
ii for Sept. 10th.... anyone else for that day?? 🙂

Hey DOPlzthx, I chose the CC as my 1st option (from NC originally) but received an e-mail saying I was complete at the VC a few days ago. Did this happen to you? When were you complete with them? Good luck! I have no doubt that you'll own your interview.

Thanks for the info. I was wondering why it was taking so long to get a secondary. I had everything done as soon as AACOMAS opened.
 
did you guys get a complete email before the interview email/call?

Thanks! I was complete July 23rd. All of my emails are from the Carolina campus, but I only applied to that campus. I would call them and ask about it. They might be able to explain why you are getting emails from the vc.

I have 3.7sgpa/ 3.56 cgpa/23 mcat. Over 100 hrs clinical volunteering/ some non clinical. Chances look okay for an ii?
 
why is this place taking so long to send out secondaries?? I was verified a few weeks ago and there's no way I was screened out unless something terrible slipped into my aacomas
 
For those in the previous cycle that might be lurking...how long does it take to go from secondary to ii? I am pushing 4 weeks right now.

Last year I was verified end of June, and didn't get a secondary until
Mid-September (who knows why). So it can be a while unfortunately. Hang in there guys!

I submitted my secondary on 8/11, officially complete on 8/20, and got an ii on 8/28. This was for Virginia though, but I don't think the timeline wouldn't be very different.

You have a chance. Call admissions and let them know of your interest.
 
Interviewed here on Wednesday. This school is fantastic. My interviews went very well, best so far. The interviewers seemed very interested in learning about me and I liked the fact that they were very conversational. No tough questions. I thought I had made a choice where I wanted to go but after this interview vcom is my number one. It's only a short drive from home and I loved the area. Overall it seemed very professional (dress code, mandatory attendance) and while this might not be for everyone I feel I would actually enjoy this. The international missions seem amazing and having spent time abroad for a considerable amount of time I would love to participate. Can't wait to hear back, hopefully it's good news!

Congrats! Were the interview questions pretty standard? Any real bizarre/tough questions?

Very intrigued by the dress code.

nope. very conversational. the staff were all very nice.
 
for those who interviewed, are there saturday dates? Just wanted a heads up in terms of planning : ) Also if you applied to both campuses, did they end up being separate interviews?

Sorry if these questions have been asked before!

It's still early. There were only 8 in my interview group, so they probably are just taking their time vs. other schools who interview 50 people per interview week or schools that over-interview.
