Signups are closed! I'm going to work on a setup that will be balanced for ya'll and hopefully have roles out within the next couple of hours.
If the theme of this game isn't underwear then I'm going to develop an underwear game. There's just too much potential to not use that theme.
(And yes @SportPonies , boy shorts will be reserved for you)

You’re gonna have to take that up with @CoffeeQuestionMark
No! You and me both, stay out of it!

I was good, I didn't sign up
Late anyways, but also going to sit this one out. Histo tomorrow and another Phys exam on Monday. Do the exams never stop???
Roles will be going out shortly. Please refrain from posting on the thread once you have your role until I can get the game start posts done. We decided to go with a Reading Week theme since I think I can relate strongly to this right now hahaha

It's what we call our week in the fall off. Just like our "Spring Break" is "Spring Reading Week". We get one in the fall for the first time ever now
I can go back to spectator chat if you set up for 9
Nooooooo

I want a week off 😢
Request denied.
They crammed our 2 weeks of finals into one week to accommodate it. So right now it sounds great, I might feel differently in December
I like odd numbers 🙁
Ok i’m in. Curious how a 10 player game would go
😛 yayI’m in!
I mean, I'm curious too! Let's find out how badly I can break a game together! It'll be a fun adventure!

As long as we can do a "commando" chaos role I'm in!
I heard about a game. Can I sidecar mod and maybe drive the bus off a cliff??
I just want a whole week off for Thanksgiving like I used to get in undergrad...now we get Thursday/Friday and that's it. And we almost had a mandatory in-class assignment on Wednesday before our class president convinced the professor to move it to the next Monday.
We have a week off! I'm so excited!
Avatar updated 😉
Ah yes thanks for the reminder

I also only have Thursday/Friday off and have required class until 1pm on Wednesday (doing surgery that morning actually). It's a real bummer.
We have the whole week off too!!
Here's some already done rules, because I'm a lazy mod and this sounds great!
WW Basics (Adapted from WW 101) The game is divided into cycles. Each cycle is divided into a day and a night. During the day is when the players decide who they should "lynch" for that day. You are trying to figure out who the wolves are (hence the name of the game WW=werewolf... by day they act like villagers, but by night they kill). Each of you will cast a vote during the day sessions to lynch someone. When you cast a vote please put your vote in BOLD, for example, lynch Jilary. If you cannot use bold, put your vote in octothorps, like so: ###lynch jilary### You can change your vote from one person to another at anytime before the lynch is closed by writing unlynch Jilary, lynch Pippy. Whoever has the most votes against them will then be lynched. They will die (usually) and are removed from the game. We then move to the night cycle. This is when the wolves pick who they are going to kill. Also, many villagers have roles that allow them to do things to help the villagers out. Please reply to your role conversation with your night actions if you have any. To make it easier for us to find your final action, please bold it and indicate the night like this: N1 Mutilate Karabou There will be a writeup after each day session explaining what happened in the lynch and the role of the persons lynched, and also a writeup after the night session similarly. Sometimes these writeups can give you hints, and sometimes they are just for fun, and sometimes they are designed to mislead you. That's part of the fun 😏
1. Do not discuss the game outside of this thread and your role PM unless you are specifically allowed to do so by the mods. There are no PMs in this game outside of ones set up by us.
2. Once you are dead, you are not allowed to strategize on the thread. If you are going to post, you must post in asterisks

Please limit the amount that you post, and limit content to fun comments or cheering for your team. Just as you should be careful with what you post after death, you should also be careful with what posts you like. Use your best judgement, don't like posts with strategy in them. You would be surprised how what you say or like can sway players' thoughts, even if you think it is innocuous. So err on the side of caution. DO NOT DISCUSS THE GAME WITH LIVING PLAYERS.
3. Participate, participate, participate. This is a small game, you do not get many mislynches before wolves win and activity is one way to get the info you need!
4. This is a chance to practice your paraphrasing skills. Direct quoting or copy/pasting of ANY PMs is not allowed.
5. You may edit posts in this game, but only for small things (clarifying wording/typos). Do not edit lynch votes. Think before you post.
6. Do not discuss or share your night results before the writeup is posted. However, you are free to continue to strategize between lynch close and writeup.
7. Bonus points that do nothing for anyone who finds an avatar to fit with the theme

GAME START
It's reading week. Both the most blessed and cursed time for veterinary students. SAR is much like any other vet student, with grand plans for what she would accomplish before the weeks end. An entire week to study with no other obligations?? Man, that would be great for getting things done. But suddenly, it's Sunday and all she's gotten done is watched the entire 3rd season of RuPaul's Drag Race, the first season of Brooklyn Nine-Nine, and learn to play crib. Suddenly, with only a week left the realization has kicked in - you need more willpower to do anything functional at all over reading week! With a massive exam the first Monday back, she needs to find the willpower to hit the books. And so our story begins as she pulls out the giant stack of textbooks, determined to work her way through the wise words of others to ace her upcoming exams. Will it work, or will she succumb to distraction? Time will tell.
Day cycles will end at 8pm MST. This may change, depending on how it works for me or if there is enough outrage. At most I could go one hour earlier but you may not get me closing on time cause that's my dinner time.
Night cycles will end at 8am MST. If I or my comod(s) miss this time, please be patient as I am still sleeping.
It is now extended D1. It will end tomorrow at 8pm.
